Really liking what I’m seeing in the previews, where they seemed to have changed what happens after they find out who FCY’s father is. Always hated the part in the novel where Xie Zheng just gives their relationship up after finding out, honestly makes more sense the way the show appears to be approaching it. And hopefully means no major separation? pls??? my heart can’t take it again 😭

truly! this cast is unreal. and honestly those two sui brothers are much easier to watch than they were to read 😅

grand tutor tao’s casting is phenomenallll, can’t wait to see him bicker with Changyu and his matchmaking schemes to come hehe

and just like the novel, the wholesome found family pig butchering days have been so nice 😭 I’m gonna miss them like this, but also I’m soooo ready for the epic fights and angst

okay it’s official, I’m re-reading the novel. It’s too hard to wait between episodes every day 🫠

waiting for our red flag couple (/complimentary) in the next few episodes to shineeee

this book was my obsession a year ago and now this drama has taken over my life, it’s such a good adaptation. I love how this last episode showed they aren’t going to make the leads too perfect, that we’re letting them be flawed and say the wrong things. because it makes their characters feel so much more real

There’s a happy ending in the book! a lot of angst in the middle but hang in there lol
