Aigooo..find this funny since CXZ is already implicated when he claimed her failed attempt. It's already personal. And she knows that as well.

And after that she had been lying low doing normal business and family matters so she definitely has time to think about CXZ since he keeps on showing up at this point.

So I guess when they finally makeup you'll say she already has the time to think about CXZ? It will not explain your statement about her not wanting to implicate him. Does that mean she does not love him enough that she doesn't care if he gets implicated along with his clan?

Right now it we have a love bar for the OTP., CXZ is at 100% while it will generous to give LMT a 10%. It will be interesting to see how she can fill it up.

There is inequality of love in this drama. The love that the FL felt was discarded by her right off the bat once regained her memories. Her stabbing him at the heart was to even off their past sins to each other, meaning forgiveness.

Emperor Ziyu's ascension can be considered their restart. But ever since then ML is pulling/simping while the FL is pushing. Her behavior has nothing to do with forgiveness but looking down on ML's feelings and value. He should be a great help against Prince Sui as she already knows. She already used him to kill-off those who killed her brothers and then st the cave. He has long been involved in the conflict so keeping him away for the sake of protecting him doesn't make sense.

Her doing it for self-preservation will be more reasonable. She has loved twice but both times been "betrayed". So why bother with love when it doesn't end well? But it doesn't make a good romance though.

But for me, I cannot delude myself into thinking that she wants to protect him somehow as the reason on why she is pushing him away. I consider that invalid as they now actually have a common enemy (and goal) so CXZ is already involved in the conflict.

My thoughts exactly. She's a little too unfeeling right now.

It might tickle some girls' ego with guy simping for the girl (honestly, I will be, just a little bit, if it's reverse), but to be fair in terms of love, ML is too much at a disadvantage with the current situation. I'm sure she will come around but until it happens, I just want to rant a bit. 😁

Guy's watcher perspective, LMT is an admirable standalone character. Smart, capable, independent, goal-oriented, logical and I must say, very beautiful. But as the other half of the OTP, aka the FL of a romantic drama, she is bad.

From what I see, her decisions are not based on emotions (or being lied to). She was very decisive the moment she regained her memories and proceeded with her plans and cut-off ties with CXZ. Yes, she has emotions for him but it is (or was) far outweighed by her logical thinking/personal goals. By their latest conversation, she understood that his love for her was real despite the deception and as she stated, they are horses who just met on a narrow road but ultimately have different path/destination. So forgiveness has nothing to do with it, it was already done by the stabbing part, she is not that petty.

So going back to the romance aspect, I find it unfair for the CXZ to be reduced to simping for LMT while she keeps on pushing him away. They have a common enemy, so working with him will be more productive, 2 heads are better than one and they can help and protect each other. These should be something she could think of, if she really values CXZ. And if I understand what the teaser of ep28 was trying to imply, she will marry that new guy just to get rid if CXZ? What's up with that?

So, I will keep on watching, and see how it goes. Love WCR, but LMT at this time, not happy with her.

I think in a way that's 1 good thing about him. He's kinda self-aware and knows who/where to get help to achieve his goal. Still pretentious though.

Rooting for the OTP, so this kinda disappoints me.🥲 Was hoping for something more profound or more on for herself and just a partnership with a bit of love between Ziyu and her. CXZ has a tough job ahead and needs to work harder!

Just wondering why LMT/LW became a bandit. She faked her own abduction to escape marriage then became the leader of Yang Mountain bandit. Is she trying to raise a big amnt of money? For what? Does it have anything to do with lineage? Like ascend her tribe's throne, if they have one?

Sad to know that the annoying guy is still spreading his "annoyingness" up to ep16. I am just at ep9 and barely holding on.

Barely tolerating this and if not for Bai Lu I would've dropped it a while ago. 2 things I'm not a fan of:
a childish ML and love triangle.

I am now at ep9, and we now have an annoying Interim ML (as real ML went to Shanghai on business.). I originally thought he would only be a minor supporting role. But this guy, Mr. He, turned out to be the most annoying 2ML and has too much screentime. He is even worse than the actual ML, pulling out childish pranks and tricks on the FL, behaviors that I can barely tolerate with the ML.

I don't really like LT and normally there is a contrast between the ML and the 2ML with how they behave around the FL. Here though, they made it with a 2ML that is just a worse version of the ML. Doubly annoying.

Yeah he was the only one left alone. but no other female character in the story 😩. And was it just me or KHJ was his 1st love?

She does. First time watching Wang Chu Ran and fell in love with her visuals. She's my new top visuals in cdrama. I also noticed she has some Ahyeon in her.

Contrarily, I am more into Rora's and Pharita's (and Asa's) visuals in Baemon.
