A bit of disconnect between viewers in Korea and kisskh? My Only One is the highest rated drama in Korea in the last 14 years (since Jumong in 2007). And it's the all time number one of actual viewers numbers since they kept track of it 3 years ago. And yet, it received such a low ratings in this site?
This is a family drama, and you need to watch it and understand it with Korean culture and family values in mind. Too many comments and complaints here did not take this into account. It has so high ratings in Korea for a reason. I recommend giving it a try and not deterred by the low ratings here.
Those who enjoyed this drama can check out Happy Together #554 and #579 when the cast of My Only One was invited. Very fun interview.
I was planning to watch SKY Castle.. But hesitated.. Does it have any murder mystery? You know what I mean, right?…
You can also try Partner for Justice (2 seasons). It's a forensic crime drama, no romance. Currently watching the Uncanny Counter (Netflix), it's about demon hunters and it's quite good.
I am surprised that many still like this drama despite the bad last 4 episodes. (Many reviews did not even mention about this) I have enjoyed this drama all along, until the greedy SBS decided to add 4 episodes. The worst part was that Choi Jin Hyuk was not able to play his role in these extra episodes because of scheduling conflict.
There are many ways to end a character in the script, but the way they did it was ridiculous. Can't they at least let him appear in one or two brief shots to round off his character? No. For such an important character to simply "disappeared" in the last few episodes with just a casual mention of his fate was unforgivable. Completely ruined the show for me. And was so unnecessary had they decided not to drag on for the extra episodes; and his character probably didn't need to die in the original script either.
If you go to season 2 page shes still in the cast though. Then again not really sure how accurate the cast list…
Lee Ji-Ah is definitely cast in Season 2, the only question is for which character. Actually the teaser video looks like a hand moving in a morgue! I think that's SR's hand and she could be alive!
Disappointed by the second half, so much going on at same time. it was chaos.7.5/10 for me
Disappointed with "so much going on"? Isn't this what viewers want? I much prefer a lot of plot progression and twists rather than nothing much going on.
are you serious? is this the ending of the first season??? I can't accept it woahhh just how how how whyyyyyyyyyy?
This is totally expected the moment they announced that there would be Season 2 and Season 3. Expect more of this for the finale episode of Season 2 :)
Okay what the hell was that? I did not expect Su Reyon to die at the end of this season. It was clearly hinted…
Apparently, Lee Ji Ah is confirmed to be in Season 2. So she will be back, one way or another. There are tons of speculations floating around, like the one who died was not SR herself but her doppelganger (people noticed missing ear rings etc) ... or SR faked the death (like Hye In).... or she came back as another character (real biological mother of the twins with the tattoos)...
Or did she really die and only play parts in flash back like Seol Ah? Very unlikely but who knows.
There has been two previous movies based on the same story:
Yun Sim Deok (1969), and Death Song (1991).
Reading recap and watching a drama are two different thing.

Trying to decide between this and Run On.

The only question is how long it takes for the revenge and the justice.
