Likewise. Before I started it, I'd read so many awful things about it. But then once I started watching it, it…
Last Empress was great until they got greedy and decided to add episodes. That's ok except CJH had other plans and could not appear in the additional episodes at all. The way they dealt with it was pretty ridiculous and spoiled the whole drama for me.
The drama is set in one of the most painful chapter in South Korean history. The director said that the drama reflected…
I only heard about the incident but didn't know much about the details in the beginning, but I did read up on it. Learning a bit about Korean history do help in understanding some of the dramas and their references. For those who don't mind watching tragedy, Netflix's Hymn of Death was also worth watching - only 3 episodes, and beautifully made.
In my opinion too much "Hollywood trimmed" like many Korean-Netflix co-production. Only 10 episodes with net.…
Yeah, forcing 16 episodes of 1 hour drama causes far too many draggy plots and filler episodes. Some manage to entertain for the whole 16 hours, but not many.
Reading the synopsis this seems way too formulaic of a tearjerker, I have no doubt in my mind this is a good drama…
Your guess is not quite right. And I think the concept is quite unique, as I don't recall anything like this before. It is not about life lessons, it's about discovering the untold stories from the items left by the deceased. The autistic angle was to use his unique abilities to find clues which are easily overlooked by most of us, and his persistence in delivering the items to someone related to the deceased. The stories are very interesting and keep you wondering how everything would unfold.
I don't like watching tragedy drama's.. Hence despite it being a good one.. I simply didn't like it.. Go Min Si…
The drama is set in one of the most painful chapter in South Korean history. The director said that the drama reflected the emotions and choices of people living through that time. I am sure many people in South Korea would be able to identify with the emotions conveyed by the drama - whether you like it or not. The mindset when watching this drama would be to share what the South Koreans had to go through, and not hoping for a happy romance.
Overrated. I dont get why people like this? Theres a lot of fantasy dramas better than this. The only reason I…
Underrated for me. If Doom at Your Service scored at 8.4, this should at least be 8.8 to 8.9. Love the leads and the chemistry. Light hearted and thoroughly enjoyable.
Aww... Shin Hye Sun did not win the Baeksang award. I guess comedy is always at a disadvantage when it comes to awards, and Kim So Yeon is also a worthy winner. Actually, she was also nominated for her film "Innocence" but also did not win :(
I am watching this, but I am losing a bit of interest. I dislike 16 episodes circling around just one case (looks like this way so far) - the only way they could keep this "interesting" is to give the audience many false leads, then once we are mislead, they would give you a new clue disproving previous false leads. This is quite tiring. I much prefer legal dramas dealing with many different stories and cases while there may be a main plot in the background. So 8.5 is a bit over rated.
Overall the story is great, there are beats that you have seen multiple times but what stands out the most is…
It would have been much better as a 16 episodes drama rather than 20 - cutting out all the filler episodes and the mid section when there was no story progression.
I really like Jang Na Ra, she's one of my favorite actresses and watched almost all her dramas. But I have to…
How can you feel this way if you are true JNR's fan? The worst thing you can do is to stereotype the role she can play. I think JNR did a very good job in attempting something she has not done before - and I think she is doing as well as any other actress could have done. And please don't mention SYJ - you won't see her for a long time in any drama. JNR is a very nice person in real life, I definitely would support her way more than SYJ.

Give it a try, it's not what you expected.
Really good quality video!

And one of the most unconvincing villain.
Very disappointing. Watch season 1 instead.

Bokeh in almost every shot is the hallmark of K-drama!
They took great length in lighting and background composition.

Lost 30% of the audience since episode 2.
On the contrary, I think this is one of the best drama in 2021.
Preliminary round

The TV ratings was also too low.
I really enjoyed all the episodes so far.
