I keep feeling like all of the male love interests in this drama only see the FL as a conquest. It feels like their fascination with her is because she is so unyielding and cold, they want to somehow be the exception that breaks her. Maybe not the actual ML as much, it does seem like he admires her. The prince who won’t back down because he clocked her as his dead wife is kind of pathetic to be honest he’s been acting deranged and no one is really trying to put a stop to it.

Probably the only drama I was was 40 episodes. Such a complex story but so much felt left out. I won’t even mention how I feel about the last 5 minutes.

I am really enjoying this drama, but watching the ML just get physically and emotionally abused for 25+ episodes is getting hard to watch.

Tell me if I’m wrong, but reading the synopsis, it sounds like Brocade Odyssey but with Ink instead of silk?

If you love a small town setting you will like this. But temper your expectations if you’re hoping for a lot of skinship.

damn, y’all were not kidding about the ending. I was really enjoying it until then. 😭 I do have to say the very last few minutes were really cathartic tho.

I have to rant about how the last scene is them just walking out of the house… that’s it? nothing to tie in their future life? 😩

I love this story, it covers some deep shit that all humans go through, but sometimes I get caught up being off put by the FL just being so mean to the ML, and he’s trying so hard to be the best version of himself and she just can’t use her words to explain herself? 😩

the high school FL is so out of touch. it’s hard not to skip her scenes.

Xiao Tian is soooo creepy good at being a villain. I’m so used to him being a good boy. 🤣

around ep 20-21

I started this for the ML cause I loved him in The Spirealm, but the writing on this drama is straight out of a low budget vertical drama. These actors deserve so much better. 😩

I just have to say it’s on sight 👊🏼for the guy in the door on ep. 27. 😩

I’m watching it on Viki and it says 38ep which feels a lot more manageable than 78 at 20 mins each. 🤣 so far it’s interesting, I’m only on ep. 3/38.

I really liked this drama starring out, it was such an interesting plot and I love a woman focused plot, but I truly believe they should have just left the romance bits out. It added really nothing to the plot besides their loyalty to each other. And watching the FL just constantly be let down by the lack of response from the ML was a big turn off. 😩
