Such a good plot line I actually wished it was longer. A “lowborn” princess born of the cold palace and used as a pawn her entire life meets a straight forward justice seeker. This drama had all of the intrigue I hoped for. The power struggle and scheming was well done. I would have loved if this drama had more episodes to really go into the history of the princes and the complicated relationship they had with the king. It felt like there was a lot that got left out because of timing.

The chemistry was great between the two leads was great. I’m a fan of both Snow Kong and Li Hongyi, they worked really well together but the actual kissing felt like dead fish kisses. That was the only negative thing I could really say.

Overall, I watched this drama in a matter of 2 days, it’s a quick watch and it does keep you engaged thoughout. The
