she's very lowkey with her personal life, no social media or anything, and does a few wonderful projects and just goes into breaks. she is extremely popular in sokor and asia, prob the highest paid actress even now, and highest paid for commercials too.

this is not just a korean reality but many asian countries forget about their athletes very quickly. once their careers are over they just have to adjust with low paying jobs etc
