Couldn't agree more! It's been a while since I've seen a FL with realistic complex decisions who puts themselves…
exactly! I think it is very realistic for her not to let everything go all at once. In this world you can’t just drop everything for someone - we still have dreams, traumas and responsibilities that we have to deal with. And on top of that, she has a disability, which puts her in a very difficult position, especially in Chinese culture. So I think it makes perfect sense for her to take her time when it comes to deciding whether to be with him - there’s a lot on her plate for her to consider.
Idk y’all I think the comments about the FL are a bit… unreasonable. This isn’t your usual, slice of life drama. It’s more of a slice of reality drama - something we usually try to escape lol. I’m only halfway through, but I must say that this is the least frustrating amount of time I’ve had to watch a couple come together. The reasons they stay apart make sense - again, it’s real life.
Edit: I mean, she has a disability and his been judged for it most of her life. The last guy she liked wouldn’t commit to her. Shouldn’t she be a little cautious? I will agree that what she said in Ep 15 was wrong - but didn’t she recognize that? And didn’t HE try to take off her prosthetic leg? I’m so glad I didn’t let the comments cause me to skip this drama!
Johnny Huang won this case last year, and yet, some netizens continue spreading rumors about his reputation. I…
Just because he won the case does not mean he is innocent. Money can do lot's of things behind the scenes. You SHOULD start believing situations even when the person in question has not been legally charged.
yikes... that last police / drug dealers scene (Ep 39) was all kinda Mi Ka's fault... I know she was trying to do right - but still, if I were her I'd let it go after the guy suddenly changed his story and said the bag wasn't his anymore.
Happy endings
Edit:
