Streets saying the shirt Sunjae was wearing during the train scene is the same shirt during the OG timeline accident in the reservoir and the second attack on the building at the 2nd time slip. Oh, dear heavens. I feel ill.
The two pre-release are about the amusement park date... which happens to be a flashback. They're really not dropping any hints about what's going to happen in Danpori and how Sunjae would find out. I'm so nervous.
Since this is her final trip in the past, the memories of past Sol and future Sol are melding together into one. What happens in the Sol of the past is just a recollection of memories that Sol in the future is remembering from that moment. It never happened before in the previous two timelines because Sol's old memories were being constantly changed by her future self. It's literally a new superpower she got because she's able to tweak this final timeline with a huge cheat sheet right in front of her. BECAUSE IT FUCKING MAKE SENSE.
Nahhh it won't happen. We have source material armour- the writer would have to be absolutely demented to go down…
It actually did happen during Sol's vision at the cliff, reason why at Episode 10, there's only three members on the news for Eclipse + Episode 11 where Sol saw only three members on the stage before they performed Sonagi for the first time.
Someone pointed out that the attack at the hotel at Episode 8/flashback to Episode 9 happened much earlier in Danpori. Instead of Sunjae dying at 34 year old with a stab wound, he dies at 20 years old in that cliff with Sol as witness.
I had an enlightenment about the bathroom scene in Episode 12. I wonder if it's a callback to the first timeline— but in a comedic way.
Sunjae's dad is drowning (wink wink) in the color blue while being stuck in a place where he's all alone— somewhere only he knows. Despite asking for help, his cries couldn't be heard because others were already busy with their own life. He almost gave up, but it wasn't until he reached the next day where the sun is out that someone came to his rescue. Using the towel as his hand (like Sunjae did when he offered the hot packet to Sol that night at the bridge), he was able to catch Sol's mom attention— a woman descending down the stairs, like an entity that dropped down from the sky. Sunjae's dad, while desperate, really did not ask for her help, but it is Sol's mom's bravery that barged into his house to save him; like how Sol helped Sunjae from what's coming to him by going to the past. There, their deep connection was born.
I could just be looking a little too deeply into it, but LR writers tend to convey things and make callbacks without shoving it down our throats. So, who knows? There might be some sense in what I noticed.
I wonder, who was the genius who first thought: "lets make 100000 kdramas with 30+ yo virgins and serve this great…
My guy waited for 15 years to be noticed by the love of his life, filled with grief and trauma and yearning. It's not unrealistic for someone like him to be a decent person who's hung up to one person alone.
I really like the fl in this drama but I can't help but think that she's being irresponsible in not telling her…
She doesn't want anyone to be involved in the incident. The target of the serial killer is her and her alone. She doesn't want anyone to get hurt the way Sunjae had in the previous timelines. She'd rather face the inevitable than experience seeing someone take the fall for her.
I'm kinda annoyed at how some of you guys forget that Sol is running out of time here. She can't involve anyone because the killer is after her alone. You guys already know what the killer did to Taesung's dad + police. How are some of you all sure that a bunch of 20 year olds could overpower a man with a deep-seated vengeance? Sigh.
"But Inhyuk and Taesung—" NO. Y'all remember that part in episode 1 and 8 where Sunjae died because a fucking psychopath got out of jail and decided he wants this kid who got him locked up d*ad because he was having a better life than him? Would you rather Inhyuk of Taesung targeted instead?
Mind you, the fact that you all suddenly forget that this girl watch the man she loves die TWICE, and question why she wants him as far away as possible is suddenly a bad idea to some of you........
To the people who are trying to find fault to whatever Sol did at the end of EP 12, I hope you read this:https://x.com/hellobungz/status/1790586996131536929TL;DR…
The reason why there's only three Eclipse members on the recent news is because, from Sol's vision at the cliff before Sunjae found her, Youngsoo stabbed him to death in front of her. He died, at the age of 20 in Danpori.
To avoid that from happening, Sol sent Seonjae back to Seoul and lied to him that she's back to the future because he promised her that he won't scare 2009 Sol, hence why he didn't run after her. She already had a plan in mind: face Youngsoo herself since avoiding him any longer would only make things matter worse. She's on borrowed time. She may go back to the present, and 2009 Sol would just experience the trauma without 2023 Sol's guidance.
She knows what she's doing, and I won't let you guys think otherwise.
Still f*cks me up that SolJae's dating era will last for only two months because once she goes back to the future, the 2009 Sol would take over again. This Sol is not in love with Sunjae. That's why Sunjae would still be yearning for the Sol that loves him for the next 14 years ("I will be running diligently towards the 2023 you," as per Sunjae's line in the preview). Their situation is as bad as star-crossed lovers. 😭 I'm scared.
Just a reminder that BTS pics were released way back and it has Sunjae and Sol facing a food delivery truck that has Sunjae's face on it as an 'idol superstar'. (Remember the picture that Sol was staring at on episode 8 on the bus stop? It was that picture.) Her hairstyle is similar to the one she's wearing on her college year.
I need y'all to be serious. This girl has watched her idol die in front of her, only to find out that she was his first love. And after spending time with him, fell in love and they even got together for a split second before she finds out that the man who kidnapped her had stabbed him again. This is a woman desperate to change his fate. She's bound to commit childish mistakes because this time, it's even worse than before. She's tired and exhausted from all this shit. Please, give her a bit of break. All she wants is for Sunjae to stay away so she could keep him safe— but she also misses him. She's not made of stone.
