Episode 15 is a standout to me so far. The actress who plays Gu Shan is excellent.
I loved her calmness on the previous episodes. I guess it really means the the silent ones are the deadliest. I did not expect her to be that cold to be a killer.
With the rising popularity and the demand for the show, I think Youku is using this as an opportunity to get the drama hyped up for the upcoming episodes. They want to profit by keeping the anticipation. Did they not expect that the drama would get positive reviews before the show so now, they're doing their best to promote it last minute? TT
The updated schedule ðŸ˜What am I going to do without episodes this weekend?
The kissing on 26th, and the skull on 27th is so befuddling. Looks like we're getting a happy episode first, only to have the episode after that tragic with someone's death.
Ep.13 is a bit illogical on how they escaped from the dungeon 😅😅
I'm not sure? It make sense to me. For a dungeon that secured, it has to have ventilation for someone (Gu Shan, for example) to be able to get enough air to breathe and carbon dioxide to expel so they won't choke on it in long periods of time. Him punching the latch open seem plausible, too, since he still has a wound on his back. Pushing it with his shoulders would only agitate the wound, hence it would only incapacitate him from escaping faster. He's been able to knock down enemies with his bare hands so punching it + adrenaline rush to save SZ could detach the latch for them to escape. I do have to wonder how they got out there so fast.
At this point on, I have a feeling that these trolls, anti-JJY and pretend ZHHZ fans are just trying to bait us into throwing hate towards ZHHZ in order to justify their hate towards JJY and use that bait as evidence for future purposes. To go out of their way to comment good things about her, but also talk shit and body shame JJY in the same breath is such an incel tactic of pitting two women together and their fans talking shit about their idol in order to get a ‘gotcha!’ moment.
I've seen this formula go on in my years of being a K-Pop fan, so seeing these attempts are so laughable to me. To think that they assumed them attacking JJY would have us throw hate at ZHHZ— when she's done a fantastic job at being OG!YCW— is downright ridiculous to me.
yes just casting xu kai and zhou dong yu in one drama would have taken like half of the dramas budget.
You're right. I think Yang Zi's the only other FL that made me cry. With ZDY showing her caliber to dramatic scenes in ALP, it's hard not to compare her to every FL I've seen. And, so far, I have yet to find someone who could top her (or YZ, who comes close second) on my list.
There is a little disappointment when Gu Shan wants to kill Shangguan Zhi, how come it's so easy for Pan Yue to…
I agree with this. But, I take it as a way for payback? She watched her mother die because her dad refused to blurt out the secret. Plus, with the abuse she endured under him, she'd want to avenge herself and mother. If she ends up not dying by the sword of her dad, then the Ripple Clan would kill her like how they tried with her dad.
Episode 15 really gives so many things in the plot!
I really agree with this! Even her servant looks like she has a huge secret up her sleeve. I really hope she's teaming up with Pan Yue. I have a hunch that she's also much powerful than what others believe her to be.

She's a big screen actress (movie). I can understand why most cdrama watchers don't know about her. If anything, her fans found it ridiculous that she took a project this small, much less play opposite Xu Kai.
Can we get rid of old fart Gu yet? Like him and wheelchair scarred baddie are woof.....we need antagonists; I…
Right! I thought after finding out who the killer is, we're moving past him. Looks like they'll use him for investigation. I only hope the drama doesn't give him a redemption arc. He's abusive and a murderer. He doesn't need more scenes because he deserves no sympathy.
Does our dude finally figure it out in 17....lord please drop a clue on his head! Seems like the reveal is imminent!…
That bridge scene. I almost cried for BXS because you know her feelings are getting serious with how much pain she's trying to hide just by seeing the lantern ZLJ gave to SZ.
The fact that they gave a flashback of her wanting someone like him.... only for the guy to be in love with her bestfriend. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I knew it! So the tokens are really numbered and they're 8 pieces all in all. It looks like each one belongs to…
Also, Qing Di knows what's up. I had a hunch that her servant knows something with how much they pan the camera to her and she gives the characters some side eye. I guess beside ZLJ, everyone is involved with that Ripple Clan.
I don't know what you actually mean. FL is far from being childish and is in fact just as smart and as resourceful…
Seriously, though. I'm so happy with the love line so far. You can actually see that despite having the same feelings for the same woman, they don't get petty. We needed that kind of dynamic between two male characters. Plus, their attentional is on the bigger picture of solving the crime first, not pining for a woman everytime they see each other.
I knew it! So the tokens are really numbered and they're 8 pieces all in all. It looks like each one belongs to at least one organization or family and is being head by the guy in the wheelchair.
I'm so shocked that they made the mother and daughter's deaths so gruesome, though. All that blood splattering. The gurgling set me off. The last shot of her staring at her mom was.... terrifying but also sad. Gu Shan's actress was so great. You can really feel her hatred. So sad to see her go and leave her sister behind.

Absolutely freaking pathetic.
