The amount of trust she has on him, she just disregarded her lie detecting powers for him.

Ep 5 was so good. He is healing, and FL helping him. He was ready to remove the mask in front of the employees. The CEO is not a good friend though. He should have helped him heal and overcome the difficulties. But he fled with him.

The man who said lies were all for the surprise proposal. FL can identify only lies. She can't differentiate white lies. That's a loophole. Some may be lying for good reasons like the mother and daughter in ep 3.
