this is really easy to watch. jisoo should do more of this type of genre, it suits her. the chemistry between her & all the boyfriends were amazing too. such a cute & fun series.
i may not be the biggest fan of that ending but the execution was AMAZING!! haein and jisoo's acting in the last episode tore my heart into million pieces. it was so painful and unfair, i cried so much, but at the same time very realistic too, imo. i mean life is not always just rainbows and butterflies and happy endings right?.. i still prefer happily ever afters though.
btw, if you want free therapy from all the heartaches this kdrama, more like k-trauma, gave you, i suggest you watch all their behind scenes videos in youtube, the ones posted by JTBC..
1. it will make you appreciate the hardwork of everyone who made this show happen. 2. you will see how detailed jung hae in and jisoo is with their actings. 3. i swear all the romantic scenes are there.. their making videos rewatch value is like 11/10 ..lol.
i’ve just watched the official full trailer and wow! this drama is a MASTERPIECE worthy of international recognition. like, i’ve never felt that many emotions just by watching a trailer.. the acting, the ost, the cinematography was magical!
their editing skills on the last few episodes went to outer space. lol. with 55 episodes and lots of flashbacks/fillers, they definitely did rushed that ending. xu kai and bai lu’s chemistry was amazing though.
this started really strong for me then it went wtf?.. haha. i’m such a sucker for fluffs, butterfly kisses and all that but this series gave me lots of cringey face palm moments. like, it doesn’t felt romantic anymore, it’s like they decided to keep bombarding you with unnecessary falling into the male lead’s arms then onto the bed then kissing then misunderstanding then falling into the ml’s arms again then onto the bed then kissing again and so on. it would somehow give you the umay factor somewhere within those 24 episodes but it’s still worth watching though.
my heart ached so much after watching this drama. i've also watched other series that has this type of ending but didn't make me shed a single tear while this one made me cry like a baby. just the thought of real people having experienced this type of pain is just heart wrenching. .
had i not known and watched that extra scene my heart would've been so disappointed and heartbroken after enduring all that push and pull romance of the main leads. overall this was an okay drama. Hu Yi Xuan was so pretty with white hair, btw. i wished she had transformed more into that character.
i wanted to like this so much cause i kinda enjoyed the first few episodes then poof it became boring. :( 40 episodes in my opinion is too much for tis kind of story. i skipped a lot of scenes.. as in a lot. i just wanted to know the ending.
i’ve watched dozens of cdramas already and never have i shed a single tear to any of them yet. even when i watched the saddest part in one & only, i just felt sad for them but the part here where sheng chen was allowed by the parents to see his unconscious wife again, that part where he held her hand and said “i am here, i never left” as he explains to his wife’s parents how much he loves her and that if she never wakes up he’ll take care of her for the rest of his life.. that part had me crying like a baby. i literally felt his love for shi yi. i was like like, this is genuine love. their love for each other is so mature. i love how they trust & respect each other and give each other their space to breathe when needed. their love is so deep and pure. their love story is beautiful.
on a lighter note, the scene where they decided to make their zhou mushi was so cute and funny. specially the line they say before doing it “i’m ready” 😂 i was laughing and screaming cause of too much giddiness.
