got it, but I liked her acting way better in PRINCESS AGENTS, so it'd seem to me anyway... I dropped SHENLI, after watching her w/ Kenny Lin after 3 EPs, like I couldn't get into the arranged marriage for a highly celebrated general, like WHAT??? in other words, instead of appreciating her as a FEMALE general, they're rewarding her great heroine acts with a MANDATED MARRIAGE, smh!! talk about crazy scriptwriting trope, eh?
VERY PRETENTIOUS, IF NOT CONTENTIOUS: Sad TROLLERS' demonic realm of hatred, rudeness, meanies against pretty talented people, in general, aka trolling/bullying kind of oppression over free will/speech, clearly NOT found in China's cancel culture's communistic market.

in America, they'd rejoice in JJY's triple threat presence vs in China, they just butcher her unfairly, like where's the comparison bet. her good acting [SHE'S WILLING TO IMPROVE!!] versus some other A-listers anywhere? LIKE HAVE THEY EVEN SEEN HOW STIFF ZHAO LYING IS IN SHENLI? I gave up on Shen Li, like I couldn't even stick around for Kenny Lin, like he was what made it interesting in the 1st 3 episodes I watched....
STOP THE JEALOUSY NITPICKING ALREADY: JJY's acting, like she can emote, NOT wooden acting -- people are so nitpicky w/ out-of-line jealousy [SMH], but here are my input:
1) JJY is a triple threat, like JLO, who can act/sing/dance; 2) JJY may not be a GREAT actress, but she's NOT wooden, like lots of other actresses, because she can act with lots of eye/facial/crying movement/emotions, like she can EMOTE, unlike lots of these other A-listers without ANY emotion or wooden faces, like wooden-faced/stiff-acting Zhao Liying in SHEN LI [very disappointing, i.e. I like Kenny Lin's acting's far better than hers!]; 3) JJY is the MAIN star here, even listed ABOVE LXY, so it should be her vehicle to start & finish, not the guest ZHHZ; 4) PER AVENUEX: the BAD SCRIPT writing is BACKWARD, like she should be the MAIN LEAD CHARACTER, out of the gate, versus this other ZHHZ, so this is NOT JJY's fault, but the poorly written scriptwriters! Had they written this as JJY turning from bad [evil SZ] to good [female coroner], like they should, NO ONE S/B CRITICIZING JJY'S ACTING! 5) This drama is worthy binge watching overall, but the scriptwriters fail to emphasize FL/JJY's SZ to start the face-swapping without ANY explanation & a cliffhanger open-ended with missing TOKEN NO. 1 without ANY explanation, like what are they thinking [or not!!]?! 6) Since they've a LOW budget production for this season, but with GREAT profit turnaround, they should re-invest in S2, hello???
