RIGHT BACK @ YA, NO NEED TO ATTACK ME: U're equally a serious piece of work yourself, like I chk'd out those comments on that SHENLI site, on this website, and it's ALL the rage of that hot makeout sessions longer than your average STAGED kissing scene here is all, NO MORE/NO LESS, like don't kill the messenger, like U don't have to spout your OWN take on it, cuz I didn't care for that series enuf to rate anything, so I've NOTHING to add onto it, just based upon the reviewers' comments is all, no more & no less.

I couldn't care less what U think, quite frankly, like no need to get so hostile about it...

U said U wanted more than a staged kissing scene, so check out their makeout session over at SHENLI, so what's wrong w/ that advice? U don't have to take it, but U don't need to spit it back at me, like I didn't direct that makeout scene over there, DUH.

trust me, like if that's what U want to see, hot-n-heavy, SHENLI'd be your kinda series, for there's a MAJOR makeout scene, garnering 8.7 rating, by FL over there that's taking her audience/viewers by storm.

STOP THE DELUSIONS: No hope for JJY fans against the massive fanatic toxic trolls out there, like these folks are so HUNG UP over the guest actress who was barely there for 1.5 EPs out of 32, kinda scary-awful... [if 1 actor has to defend another over some irrational fans!]

TOUGH SENSELESS PERSISTENCE OF THE WRONG 1ST BILLER KIND OF C-DRAMALAND: Most viewers, on this website, are so HUNG UP over the guest actress that it's absolutely ridiculously laughable, as they kept saying they're dropping out of the series, like seriously, BLAME the scriptwriters for your misgiving, misrepresentation & misdiagnosis of the actual fantastical storyline of face-swapping, as far away from your NON-REALISTIC expectations already, by getting well over that delusional wayward thinking that a guest of mere 1.5 episodes could possibly make that BIG of a difference no matter how 'great' y'all happen to think of her, GEEZ, MOVE ON ALREADY, her character got killed by half-way into EP 2, CRY ME A RIVER!

She's barely decent here, BRIEFLY, as she was on screen for those brief moments [1.5 episodes] to establishing her role of being swapped over into another's face, like how HARD is that to comprehend anyway??? There are way too many expectations, delusions & wayward misdirections NOT intended to sustain logically/psychologically cuz her character barely lasted that long in a 32-episode series [do the math, d'oh!].

She's on another series, go & find her there & rejoice!

oh, he's there, i.e. his character, as a monk, WU XIN is an important integral part of that series. I'd prefer him w/ hair, the longer the better, but it doesn't detract from his handsomeness, dimpled smile, charisma, etc.

yea, it's nice C-drama, way too short, however... missed those long-winded 60 EPs or more, like 10 miles of peach blossom... IMPRESSED: These male actors can kiss!!

methinks JOY OF LIFE, S2 is coming out.... and, I'm lookin' forward to LXY's BLOOD OF YOUTH, S2, hooray!

nice, very well broken down.... still barely enuf for thirsty viewers, hungering for much more, but alas, it's PG-13!

I can concur/relate to everything you stated, esp. with only 1 kiss scene/EP 21 [zly for ShenLi milked it for all its worth w/ a full-blown hot adult makeout scene for her thirsty audience in garnering 8.7 rating!], but not here, despite the hot, sexy chemistry bet. 2 main leads,

LXY is such a (handsome) good actor uplifting/anchoring JJY to a better footing, i.e. a win-win for Youku's S2 return to us viewers, x-fingers...

NOT UP TO US: Up to Youku's powers-that-be to resume with S2 with JJY+LXY back as the functioning magistrate+coroner husband-n-wife duo, fighting against a corrupted government, etc., as well as re-establishing that 2nd couple's abrupt re-connection somehow..., blah-blah-blah.

CLIFFHANGER: Unfair to us viewers by leaving us in the dark to fill in the blank ourselves, like we gotsta know...

CONSPIRACY: There's a hidden corrupt official, aka Token No. 1 villain, a serial killer masterminding all sorts of illegal/dastard killings of innocent bystanders, dissidents, etc. with free reign.

MAD REVIEW IS IN: Hi, the AvenueX's brand of unrecommended reviews in SHENLI (SL) is in, and it's HILARIOUS, i.e. her own ultra-negative pared down poorest butchering of a non-rating of SL, rendering it unwatchable (vs IN BLOSSOM, being more positive as she's a JJY-hater with her idol-bashing normal self)...

Drumroll, she HATES SL pretty much, while she's pretty pedantically rigid, she's ENTERTAINING in her breakdowns of bad orange color grading/boring storytelling/nothing special/etc., like she just CRACKED me up w/ her in-your-face scathing HARSHEST review ever....

OMG: She amuses me with her over-the-top rantings cuz, believe it or not, there's a GRAIN OF TRUTH in her brutal assessment that the genre is far too old for SL's 2 main leads, 100% predictability, so mediocrely done, even the cute CGI chicken's not well made, over-smoothing of 2 main leads, uncombed hair/bad eyeliner of FL, ML's supposed to be a sickling [agreed w/ her, lookin' like a healthy hunk to me, too! SMH], whining that ML is far too heavy to be in this role, no engaging conversations [agreed w/ her, like humdrum to me, too!]

AGREED, like a major sleeper hit for YOUKU, who's laughing all the way to the bank, while stranding its hungry viewers, thirsting for more from a possible S2 to come, like earth to YOUKU, like U need to tie up bloody loose ends for us already, yeah?!
