It's so funny that Bai Yu was like, "winning isn't important, having fun is the most important." He's such an…
if only I heard about what U heard....
anyhoo, I heard about another drama's new trailer basically overhinting at how great-n-dandy the production's been going, lookin' like a bad sign of things to come, so I can tread around that one when it finally airs...
You realize that people are talking about the characters and not the actors though right? And people are allowed…
DITTO, like reason(s) anyone dropping/skipping anything is that it's distasteful/boring to them over detestable character(s) anywhere, not just in C-dramas, but all other dramas altogether. Like the same detestable tiger mother here can be felt anywhere in the world, over-n-over again, esp. from a remake, like why ever repeat a BAD remake anyway, like garbage-in/garbage out?!
SENSELESS: Anyhoo, I do find that most, if not all, these neurotically obsessive tiger Asian parents/mothers tend to be incredibly rude/offensive/bothersome to their ADULT CHILDREN, like that poorly written obsolete script should STOP cuz it's a bad 3rd rated silly trope that the rest of the world's international audience cannot possibly relate to or appreciate ad nauseam.
DROPPING/SKIPPING: I'd drop the drama or fast-forward/skipping over the tiger parents/mother's melodrama-inflicted trope, so I can enjoy other fruitful stimulating feel-good dramas/kissing scenes of main leads instead.
BTW: Tiger parenting has been blamed for high rates of suicide in East Asia, particularly South Korea, which has some of the highest suicide rates in the developed world.
This actor, though neither pretty nor handsome, is EXCEPTIONALLY NATURAL-n-CHARISMATIC, esp. in the miserable Judge Dee's Mystery, like his portrayal was the only standout in that failed drama.
He was wonderfully noticed in JOY OF LIFE, S1, and now, S2 is finally here, OH, JOY!
Can't wait for S3, hopefully it won't be another 5 yrs!!
yes, if U don't mind skipping around cuz the plot w/ evil sister-n-evil prince is too messy. no, it's 24 EPs too long, like it could've scaled down to 16.
pros: Main leads are matter-of-fact, nice chemistry, kisses abound. cons: Plot's holes w/ evil people running amok, left-n-right.
I'm juggling/switching out many dramas right now, as I'm awaiting Youtube's translated EPs of THE TRUTH, S2.

too bad that its original script was already messy & its remake just recycled its mess once again.

I wish JOL was on Prime, so I can binge happily.
Joy of Life, S2?!
looks like they extended from 10 EPs now to 20, all the way till July, 2024.
