oh, I see... I thought that's for female actresses, but it's filtering over to male actors, too?! dunno, kinda unnatural for men, from its int'l audience, like they look so gayish, esp in a modern drama/variety show.

Loving the camaraderie of all the casts, looks like they're having a blast;
Cracking up at how everyone was so scared of the haunted house, dark/crawling creatures, including a rooster/chicken, aka livestock, etc.
Hoping to catch the rest of the FUN EPs w/ everyone, like too bad, so bad that there are only 10!

really? he sure looks like lipstick/stain to me, LOLOL, not an attractive look on ANY men... like do they need to look ALL that made up in a modern setting?

Bai Yu seems to be the only one looking decent w/o being ALL made up to me.

I don't happen to like ZZY's face or acting.

IMO: I did try watching that FIL drama, but I ended up disliking that XJY/FL's costar of his, who's currently on Blossom in Adversity, like I don't like her acting too much.

IMO: CXX's acting deserves a good-looking smart FL, like beautiful PXR or, in this thread, w/ DD, like there's nothing wrong w/ XJY, but personally, I don't care for either her pouty plain looks or her acting.

IMO: I didn't care much for his FLs in both his recent modern dramas, The Boss/ Interpreter either, like I don't think they're a great matchup for him professionally.

nope, not that one... Just Goodbye My Princess w/ tragic ending of FL w/ CXX, like I really ship the main leads' CP.

I'm currently watching (1) Variety Show: The Truth S2 w/ Dilraba & crew, pretty darn good, TOTAL RECOMMENDATION vs. (2) Lady Revenger, most ridiculous storyline right now where the accuser/villains accusing innocent bystander without any proof, UGH, turning the victim into proving that she's not guilty, kinda in reverse of innocent till proven guilty, which is UNBELIEVABLE, but I like the main leads' CHEMISTRY so I'm just hanging on by a mere thread...

yeah, lighting, costume, makeup, etc. but the main ones are script/CP/acting.

I believe this modern drama is a good fit for both LXX-DD.

1) good script/storyline.
2) good CP chemistry.
3) good ratings/reservations.
4) good acting builds up great character.
5) good character showcases great acting.

AGREED: I like CXX since Goodbye My Princess 1st, then Starry Love [he played like 5 characters!]; moreover, I just didn't like his recent 2 modern dramas, The Boss/Interpreter, due to his below-average FL costars + lackluster storylines, but NOT with him however, like those boring storylines did NOT showcase his versatile acting at all.

EXCITING: This will be my 1st modern drama w/ CXX, as ML, that I'm really looking forward to binge-watch when it's finally being aired, like I think this CP is kinda complimentary, as I like both their acting respectively.

UNIQUE: They're both eyecandy, yet they could act, too, so it's a win-win for me.

Out of all the male actors, esp. in this variety show, I only prefer BAI YU's somewhat male's clean makeup face, i.e. w/o lipstick & not overly made up/done. Why can't at least a neutral/brown-colored lipstick be used instead, like does it always have to be red lipstick on men? UGH.

Like ZLH's got colored lipstick/gloss [UGH] vs. LYN's lipgloss are just too much to look at.
Like Dilraba's under-made-up than the men, seriously.
Like the makeup artist(s) must be getting good wage cuz they're really over-doing it on these male actors.
