My ratings would be between 7.5-8/10. I finally got to watch this after years of hesitation. I avoided this drama…
I was under the impression that his Aunt's son had died. She kidnapped him as a replacement. (she was mentally ill). She treated him like a loving mother would, making him pancakes (things his biological mother didn't do). As a child, he was confused and thought his Aunt was his mother, and that he was taken away from her. It left a traumatic memory for him that haunted him. The boy with the birth mark would have been his deceased cousin.

the fact that it was so short made it a more enjoyable story. There was no unnecessary drama to extend a perfectly fine coming of age/turning point/figuring life out type of story. They had known each other since they were children, and now they were becoming adults, and with that there would be changes in how they saw each other. I think in a more 'reality' type setting, friends in this situation would probably be far more selfish and never really consider what the other person is feeling. Which means that normal friendships would not survive this scenario. But who says we watch dramas for their reality? I loved the show, but it also made me wish that somewhere out there, friendships this close and considerate could actually exists.

Good article to bring awareness to the differences in culture. I have to say I can love or hate any of the above situations in any given drama. What draws me to asian dramas is because American television is so full of slutty smut shows, where people are exchanging partners every other episode or dressing provocatively and just being over sexualized. Asian dramas are like a breath of fresh air compared to the amount of sex flaunted in front of us on TV. Asian dramas focus more on the better parts of relationship building and skinship, and very little of it has to do with them having sex, in fact it's very rare for it to be covered at all in a drama. Of course in American shows, the females can have a strong leading role, but the downside is that a large portion of their character will focus on their sex life.

one thing I would point out about the "no lips moving' during a kiss scene. I tend to think that is done for a 'hold shot' especially for an ending scene. The director will have them hold the pose for a time while they move the camera around for the added dramatics and the swooning music. I think the lip movements would also be by choice by the actors as well. I've seen some actors who always do the 'deer in headlights' kiss, and others that will actually move their lips like a real kiss. So it could be a combination of the actors preference and the director.

Title Secret
I was sorta right on what was going on, but it was way more complex than I had imagined xD

gah! I didn't want it to end. I love this genre of drama. City Hunter, Ghost, Iris... give me more! The parkour stunts were really fun to watch, and I loved it every time Healer was in action. The fight scenes were a little weak compared to other action dramas. It seemed like they just moved the camera around a lot, rather than focusing in on coordinated fight stunts. But it doesn't really take away from the show at all.
I was a little confused about her cell phone, until I realized it was her /adopted/ mothers' phone, not biological. She was never mentioned until the final episode with the photographs, so I didn't realize she even existed.

ah, it's been so long since i've seen the anime. Watching this brought it all back :D Loved it. Fantastic fight choreography, amazing and nostalgic Kenshin fight poses too.

I don't really keep up with kpop, but every time I see a member of Infinite in a kdrama, i'm like dang, that group does not lack in gorgeous men.

Drama was pretty good, until the last 2 episodes. They were just silly. Yes, make him fall in love with you even more, and need you even more, and then disappear for a year for no reason whatsoever. If it were a real relationship, even after he got her back, he should be terrified for the rest of their lives that she might just vanish one day. ... that was a lame way to end their story.

half way through, and i'm not sure I want to finish this. The story is all over the place. There hasn't been any real reason for me to feel like I should understand what each persons motive is. Why does NK care who operates on the PM? How did JaeHee even help get him at the hospital? She didn't, she just made things confusing. The other guys got him there.
The last second plot twists are just weird. And I just want to yell at the person who starts daydreaming about past events during a surgery... that was stupid. *let me just stand here daydreaming while this baby bleeds out for 5 minutes*
And to be honest, everyones acting seems fine, it's just the writing that is beyond fixable.
