So did the series “promised you the moon and delivered?” I didn’t like ITSAY and couldn’t watch IPYTM…
As a semi-professional film reviewer I enjoyed both very much. They are both extremely well put together technically. The acting is first rate. The chemistry between the actors is excellent. The story is very believable and doesn't pull any punches. This is not, of course, BL fluff, and that irritates people who only want that and don't understand actual adult relationships. They may eventually grow up.
Watching it for the fourth time, once a year about this time. Why? It makes me smile. I can't help myself. I think it's because I couldn't be that person when I was that age. So I live what I missed through this story.
If you are coming here commenting your thoughts please take This Drama being BL genra out of mind . Take it as…
You might also consider this as the 2nd act in a three part story. It feels like that to me. I'll have a more considered feeling about this after the next episode. If it winds up with Teh and Oh separated then I'll be expecting a part three to resolve the relationship. Given how the story began, back in the first episode of ITSAY, you could tell that their relationship was going to be rocky. Teh is a person who needs an anchor, and Oh is that anchor. He knows that, but sometimes situations will mess with that.
Teh only give a peck but then Jai was the one who pull him in for the second time
Precisely! But my question was rhetorical. I was hoping to get some of these emotionally fraught posters to reconsider what they saw, as in what was shown on the screen vs. what goes on in their imagination.
I don't think so, but the work required to achieve the happy ending cannot be done in one episode.
Haha. The actors playing the boys in the CIWYW series did not have their phones taken away. In the series itself, the actors Bas and Ait had their phones taken by Tee because it was in their contract and James was appalled, having never been involved in a BL series before. This reflects Aam's reaction to what happened during the making of 2M2, where it was his first directing experience with a BL, having already made some award winning films.
Many people on this comment don't want to admit that what Teh did is horrible but that's just the truth! No one…
Your assumptions are emotional and have nothing to do with the facts as presented in the series. You might want to watch the episode again with a more critical eye.

I just went back through Nine's IG. I've been following him since 2M2. It looks like quite a few of the shots he had with Joong are gone. I'm pretty sure being asked to clean up your IG is a solid thing. Look at what happened in CIWYW where the boys phones were taken away. I'm pretty sure he deleted at this the image we were looking at. More to come...

Yes. I don't want to call it a placeholder, but it was clearly the middle of the story. So far this feels more like the middle of a story, regardless of what happens in EP 5.
I might get bashed for saying this, but PP isn't a good singer. He's pretty bad.Pt1 OSTs were mostly focoused…
I've seen the Fantopia singing from various angles, and we all saw PP lose it at the end. I thought that, for a first timer, he did amazingly well. You can also see that he's very emotional in real life.
I understand, but that's how people end up in a 30 year toxic relationship and when they wake up, it's too late…
Reality is a pretty good reference here. Look at the various stories of Hollywood couples, or even stage couples, where both partners are in the business, or only one is. Do they go to movies where their partner has a wild sex scene with another actor? What happens in real life?
Well many would curse Teh for being a D!ck but the fact that this season 2 is Realistic AF made me fell in love…
I'm probably the only one not calling Teh a dick. While he appeared to submit, he didn't initiate what happened. Did his hormones take over? Yes? He's young. He has hormones. And he's Teh, not a marble statue. People don't seem to want to see this in the context in which it happened. An acting workshop. You really can't ignore that and have any real understanding of what happened.
