Diluted comedic version of season 1. Scattered in a few recycled jokes from S1 as well. Overall, would be better if you really treated it as its own drama without having a comparison.
My least favourite part about this drama was the female lead. I liked their chemistry and saw why she managed to make a connection with Doctor Cha. However, I was very put off by her as she seemed over-obsessed/ concerned and very intrusive of Doc Cha. It was pretty cringey to witness but all other aspects of the show- the way they went over the touchy subject of euthanasia was good.
I watched till ep 9 and found it too bland for my taste so I dropped it (as much as I love Yang Yang and his expressions in this drama). The gameplay was abit unbearable imo (speaking from someone who loves games, the keyboard whacking was only funny the first few times). I skipped to ep 40 and the ending ended up being everything I predicted it to be. Glad I didn't force myself to watch through it due to the overwhelmingly positive comments. Recommend everyone to try watching it till ep 7-10 to see if you like it or not.
I had to drop it 7 episodes in, it was very boring. And the random keyboard smashing to simulate playing a game..…
I'm at ep 9 and pushing myself to watch it tho I too, find it very boring. It's cos i'm seeing this flood of good comments and love for the drama which I still don't get. Thanks- your viewpoint is exactly in line with mine and just decided to drop it.
PS. The keyboard smashing is out of hand. Sometimes they do it when the character is just moving forward and it hardly makes any sense. And as you said, gameplay from the players' screens are weird and unplayable.
These antagonists could not think of more efficient or realistic ways of attempting to kill the main characters besides using pistols and assault rifles. Most unimpressive and careless array of bad guys.
I agree it's dumb af, but it wouldn't be a kdrama if they didn't overcomplicate things & toy with our emotions.…
Good kdramas with drama AND reasonable plots and ending obviously exist. I must be picking a pretty damn good selection of them seeing how I definitely do not find it "typical" of kdramas to end this way. The ending was abnormal to me and I have watched my fair share of kdramas up till now. Abnormal as in just plain bad.
Such a rare gem that remained true to its comedic roots till the end. It didn't get overly sombre and serious like I would have expected. Most dramas have ups and downs but this drama just remained so good throughout. Best character developments from both seccondary leads (detective and prosecutor). The drama contains good messages and definitely one of my favourites (hard to come by). Thank God for this lovely addition to dramaland. The actors and actresses are bloody amazing in this.
