Rated it based on enjoyment over the plot- 8.5/10
I don't care why people dig too deep into storylines and bash cliches. Personally, I love them. And when I enjoy them, that's when my ratings go up.

If he wasn't good-looking, I would have dropped it to be honest. As long as there is romance in a drama, I want the lead to be handsome- no matter what kind of role he is playing or occupation he has in it. Plus, as samanvithamurthy said, looks have nothing to do with physique.

Hey same! I just made a comment abt myself being turned off by his character's first impression. I dropped it for a long time but became curious abt the reason why my mom loved it so much. I'm so glad I didn't drop it since he turned out to be such a sweet guy X3

Was tempted to drop it at ep 1 bc it was too dramatic for me. However, I am so glad I didn't. The main couple has such good chemistry plus the guy's a real sweetheart. Never expected him to be that way given the first impression he made on his viewers.

The wardrobe's atrocious but considered to be fashionable at that point of time. I mean come on- it's the 2000s

He has a wife i'm pretty sure. It doesn't matter whether he's a prince or king- he can marry with either status.

He has a wife in this show right? Is Crown Princess Jo Ha Yeon his wife? I know that it's normal to have several wives in that time period but it's a major turnoff.
