I found it okay how they brought a "foreigner" in but it's just that one line that was said: "This soap can make your skin whiter" that was offensive.

A disguise? Wasn't it to signify someone who was from overseas? But the part where they said the soap would help him have whiter/cleaner skin is offensive.

I was offended too :/ but it's the director's fault and mistake. I'm just going to continue watching it 'till the end.

Most taiwanese romcom dramas are like that. Continue watching it- I think it'll be fine, her acting isn't that bad.

Again, it's a personal opinion. Please don't be butthurt about it. I prefer to connect relationships to mentality. For example, 2 people who aren't of the same bloodline who see themselves as extremely close brothers- are seen as bros in my eyes whether actually in a biological relationship or not.

I have watched Pinocchio. It didn't come of as a bro-sis relationship from the very start. I have not watched Reply 1994. I don't think i'll get "used to it" either way. Geu Rin seeing him as a bro from the age of 12 is young in my eyes. Most of all- it's my personal opinion.
