it’s not exactly like the donghua. It’s somewhat similar but some parts were taken out because the storyline is different in the live-action.

Adapted from the manhwa . “Positively Yours,” is WAY different than “Inspired by the original manhwa. Whoever changed the script , took out characters , and changed the characters, messed up the manhwa. If you haven’t read the manhwa, then you wouldn’t understand. Those of us who read it and loved the original story line won’t continue watching this.

if it was due to broadcasting reasons, why did they turn this into a kdrama? For lots of us that love the manhwa, it was fine being JUST a manhwa. But the fact that the scriptwriters took on this project, changed the script AND took out one of the main characters is a big disappointment.

He changed the plot line of the story and took out one of the main characters on the story. I’d say he’s gonna upset a lot of manhwa readers.

After finishing the live action, one of the major differencs was the male lead himself.

Although I enjoy Yang Yang's acting, the character in the donghua was portrayed as more cold and indifferent.

The director changed Han Li into a 'smart, handsome, yet brutal when serious' persona to make him more likable.
This shows that the directors didn't trust that the original Han Li would be accepted by everyone.

in the donghua, Li Feiyue was friends with Zhang Tie, Han Li, and Li Feiyue. In the live action, they removed the trios friendship bond. I was mad bc those scenese in A mortal’s journey to immortality were better when it was the 3 of them. not just han li and zhang tie. Plus Li feiyue was more likable IMO in the donghua.

R -rating is like Mature 17+ . None of the Asia countries will have R rating that is like Europe and Americas.

so drama was great I literally think it deserves a 10 star rating since the ending isnt like most xiaxia endings.

Although, I'm a bit confused after re-watching ALP. If the timeline is set in TLI from when BJ (Bai Jue) scarificed himself and YQ (Yuan Qi) went to study at Daze Mountain, wasnt he like a kid?

Like I mean even when his dad came back he was also a kid. Not 1200 years old .. So how does that match up if he is a teenager in TLI?
