One of the most disappointing FL revenge dramas
All the stars in my review are for the actors, music, and costumes. The actual FL (and some other characters I wont mention) deserve NONE.This drama had potential to be an amazing Fl revenge storyline but things changed toward the end.
Disclaimer: I love Zhao Lusi but the character she plays is one of the worst I’ve seen so far. The way the writers wrote Qin Chuan annoyed me.
In the start of the series, Fl was great. Getting revenge and constantly focused on her goal.
BUT at ep 20-26, I was so disappointed with Qin Chuan that I dropped it. (SPOILERS AHEAD)
1.)First , Qin Chuan could’ve told her people that she’s been fighting for that she was alive(yet she didnt.) Even XuanZhu was urging her to fess up, but Fl still wouldnt budge.
2.) Second, Fl told herself that she wouldnt abandons her country numerous times but when she screwed up, she starts wallowing away.
3.) I read reviews online about the ending to see if she finally fessed up and stopped hiding but NOPE! We never see her take the iniative (I even started liking Xuan Zhu more for doing what Qin Chuan gave up on.)
Thus, i wouldnt recommend this to anyone as the entire plot went south toward the end.

just when i was feeling sorry for FL, she makes me hate her.
Note: I love Bai lu, but i really was disappointed with the storyline. This review will contain partial spoilers. Read at your own risk!The first half of the series, I loved it. I was upset with ML for treating FL terribly. He suspected that Fl was his ex lover / a goddess who died thousands of years ago. And FL kept denying it.

But, in the 2nd half of the series fl switches gears and admits to it?? I was SO mad bc why admit to it when i was hoping ML would get punished for accusing her throughtout the story.
All in all, I loved the music, the costumes, and the scenery. But, I dropped it bc I felt like whoever wrote the script was dragging the audience.

Loved this drama! Don’t listen to the nonsense comments , this drama gave me the chills in a good way! I get like the ending kinda sucked,but I can’t stop raving how much Nam Soon & Bong Soon are my new favorite female superheroes ?🦸♀️
I mean c’mon most superheroes ( like Marvel’s Avengers ) are kinda rough around the edges and such but Nam-Soon has such unique super powers that she’d oust all of them !! And she’s born with them unlike half of marvels characters who got them through unnatural circumstances… ( hulk, Spider-Man , Captain America, etc. ALL lab experiments!)
