I haven't seen the webtoon but I really hope the 2nd lead syndrome will go away and Hyunji and Yujin will be happy.…
La Lima is actually great! She's acting the same. way in the drama as she did in the beginning of the webtoon, but you come to realise that her "rudeness" is more just slight narcissism, and she's a whole girl boss. Maha has the biggest fangirl crush on her it's so funny, cause Ryok get's jealous over it - and La Lima is just living for the attention HAHAHAH
ALSO, there's only 12 ep, so I wonder which things they'll omit from the webtoon. They already changed quite a few things (nothing bad tbh), but I'm curious to see how this is going to proceed in the later episodes
Pls I hope all relationships end up like they do in the webtoon!! Bye with the 2nd lead syndrome, let yujin get a girl who likes him back 😌 I also hope they keep La Lima's character like how she is in the webtoon, I don't want them to ruin her, she's so badass
I binged the webtoon and it's so good but also super artistic. It's has a realistic ending too, so I'm curious to see if they'll fully commit to the webtoon or change some things. Since it's produced by jtbc and netflix, I'll trust them to stick to it - I really hope they do so as that would be a breath of fresh air
Probably because their sponsors are big companies like Lays, Oppo, etc. And Nadao Bangkok is quite known and big…
billkin and pp were already a really famous pairing in another nadao drama called my ambulance (which was a huge success). their stand-alone series was really sought out for, and already before the official title of its was released, and this show was called simply billkinpp project, they had sponsors ready to fund. also, nadao in general has really high-quality series since they've always prioritised quality over quantity so even without the sponsors, just the fact that it came out of nadao is enough to secure it being high of quality
ngl, when my friend first got me to watch this drama, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. she hyped it up so much, so my expectations were high, but I've never been the biggest fan of historical/fantasy dramas, not that I didn't like them but they weren't my favourites . looking back, I honestly understood little to nothing in the first 10 episodes or so, but I continued and oh boy am I glad I didn't give up on it. The plot begins to make sense and you come to realise how well written it actually is. It's not the perfect drama, but it somehow makes it seem like it is. The untamed has tons of flaws but they get overseen by how great the rest is. I don't think I'll ever forget the summer of 2019 and how engrossed my friends and I were in this drama. I still listen to the soundtrack til this day, and despite it only been approx. two years, the show already feels so nostalgic to me.
Anyone have any shows similar to recommend? I absolutely love this show, one of my all time favourite shows and…
Since trapped has already been recommended, I also recommend the korean show long time no see! It's lower in budget, but the plot + actings is still really good.
it's a given for a show like this to have its viewers be separated into teams, but I don't understand why some people are taking it so seriously lmao. I saw a tweet about how Seojun was done dirty, and I had to disagree. He was destined to be the second lead from the start, even TVN spoiled it in a chart they posted before the drama started. Despite this, he is an amazing second lead. He is no pushover, and he is understanding. He would've been done dirty if he ended up being a terrible character, or if the other characters made him seem less superior. Here it's not the case. He gets just as much screen time as Suho does, and they both are nice towards the female lead (they had their scenes in the start of the show, but it was nowhere as harsh as in other love triangle series I've seen). Both the ML and the SML are great, fairly complex characters with their own individuality. None of them stand in the background. Instead of acting as if Seojun is been done dirty due to him not ending up with Jukyung, perhaps appreciate how good of a character he is instead.
With that being said, everything would've been easier if people were just team Jukyung instead dhshsjsnsj
so i'm not watching this, but i keep seeing clips everywhere and i was wondering if it's just me or are they really…
it's actually not that much. It's clear it's pure bromance, both leads have clear feelings for the fl. It would be queerbating if they made the direction seem like the guys would end up together, only for them not to be, but in here direction does not show that. The friendship they have is in no way portrayed romantically (although I wouldn't be surprised if people made it out to be like so)
Despite how flawed and messy this drama is, I always come back to it when I'm in need for a smile. This and Weightlifting Fairy have a special place in my heart. The chemistry is amazing.
I think most of the hype is because of the chemistry between the leads, and just the love between the characters...if…
Yeah I see what you mean, and I agree, the chemistry here was amazing. I guess I'm just used to rating a drama as a whole, that chemistry for me is just another one of those factors in my overall rating. With that being said, based on chemistry only these two are top tier.
Unpopular opinion: I honestly don't think this drama is as good as people hype it up to be? It took me a while to finish the show cause I always got stuck, and despite really liking the characters, the progressions and execution fell flat for me at times. It was hard to keep my focus. I enjoyed it still, but I don't find it to be a masterpiece imo. I've seen much better shows from the genre so perhaps that could be the reason as to why I didn't like it as much? especially since a good handful of the viewers had cloy as one of their first kdramas.
Based on the first episode, I'm not happy with the casting of the female lead. I just can't see this female lead…
I felt the same way but I she gets way better after the first two episodes, I'm already liking her alot more than before. Since it's a webdrama, the things happen much faster too, which is nice.
I personal don’t like sexual things, and cutesy thing (even kissing unless it’s a peck) and this sexual tension…
They don't speak as such, but the more sensual scenes shown are pretty important as the actions done during the scenes tie up with other scenes. Obviously, if you feel uncomfortable, you don't have to watch. But there may be some thinks you find confusing later on if you skip.
My only complaint is that the blood from the monsters can look unrealistic at times but overall their textures…
The blood from the monsters seemed like the "cheapest" part of the CGI, but honestly it's easily overshadowed by how well the rest was animated. The movements were really well made.
