little empress was the mvp
The ML makes this show! Standout performance. The FL is a Disney princess but make her incredibly badass. With that said, the show had slow, dragging moments. The FL became a bit boring to watch in the latter half of the series and my investment went to the little empress. I truly love that girl and wish we could get a proper focus on such a character in a drama someday. Found her relationship with the emperor to be heartwarming and somewhat exciting due to tension. Her scenes with the emperor were my favorite things about the latter half of the series.
