it started stronger than it ended, and it’s undoubtedly a flawed execution but i still
encourage you to try it. there’s so much here that works. the leads have buckets of chemistry, they act well, their characters are genuinely cool, the ideas of the plot are nice even if the execution leaves to be desired, its shot beautifully, etc.

the male lead is a joy to watch in this, very good actor. i look forward to any other of his projects in the future.

consider all these things, and if you like the story of mulan, watch it!
