This is the spin off story about Mei Chaofeng. Although this is only a spin off story, it still has the important detail from LOCH.
What I like is the relationship between Huang Yaoshi and Feng Heng. We never see their relationship in LOCH, what we know only Huang Yaoshi loves Feng Heng so much. So this drama can really show us about their love, Chen Duling and Zhou Yiwei chemistry is really loveable! Meng Ziyi's acting as Mei Chaofeng and He Yu as Chen Xuanfeng also really cool. I love their chemistry too. The martial arts also cool.
What I don't like is the relationship between Huang Yaoshi and Mei Chaofeng. In this drama Huang Yaoshi looks like he forced to accept Mei Chaofeng as his disciple because of Feng Heng, and they not really have teacher-disciple relationship between them. It just feels like Mei Chaofeng only sees Huang Yaoshi as a hero, not a teacher. This is in contrast to the character of Mei Chaofeng in the drama LOCH, even though she is blind, she can still recognize her master arround her, she even will kneel before him. Huang Yaoshi also still help and defend Mei Chaofeng. This shows that their teacher-disciple relationship is really strong. The other thing how Xue Qingyi even can enter Peach Blossom Island?! Even Zhou Botong trapped 15 years in there!
