When was this show made? Jerry Yan looks younger in this. And I've noticed a few of his dramas being released many years after production. So I'm wondering if that's the case here...
What is he really doing for a living? So many actors only make a movie/drama every other year or even less. Im not complaining, to each their own, I'm just wondering how they make money to survive. Or maybe they lead very frugal lives, trying to stretch out their payments as far as possible? ...
Any political propaganda in the 1st season?I wanna give it a try but Netflix is known for enforcing political…
I wouldn't call it girl power. Yes the protagonist is a woman and she has a female sidekick you also root for. Other than these two, you have a plethora of bad women (mean rich girl, cynical exploiter, a whole lot of unfit mothers, promiscuous woman,...), all perpetrating abuse around them. There are really four male characters: two are really bad, one is still an enigma and the third is an admirable surgeon with his own troubles.
But yeah, there's some political messaging : "the huge gap between the very rich and the very poor is being exploited by the former to thump on the latter. And that's bad. "
who is the red woman ? i already watched this show but forgot about it..
She's the fairy. The old woman who protects Eun Tak as a kid from the reaper. Then she charms Goblin's servant's grandkid (presumably in order to have a higher being pose in his place). She's the one who sells jewelry to Sunny and have her and the reaper meet. In other words she's fate (?) Omo! I can't believe I still remember so much of this six years later!
Can someone please explain the age dynamic between MDE and JYJ? I am a bit confused by the terms they use for…
He's younger in age but ahead of her in school. Plus he's teaching her (Go). So she uses honorifics with him. Then years later she treats him informally because he's actually younger.
Lolz sml was better cuz he wasn't deceived by her the way ml so obiviously he is gonna treat her better anyway…
Do you believe that if the ML knew from the beginning who she really was, he would have given her the time of day? If she had been dressed in her blue jeans and t-shirt? I have so much to say about this drama, I could write an article haha
The thai version is a clear happy end. The taiwanese version is not clearly happy. Its very bittersweet. If you want a happy end then go the thai version. It's also better.
I'm confused so who is trying to kill nulek and what's up with her mom pretending to not be her mom but she's…
I forgot a lot of the story, except that the ML is indeed irritating. The mom has to hide her identity because she's being blackmailing by the dad. Is anybody really trying to kill Nulek though... to be honest I don't remember the plot, I do know there was a lot of misdirections and intimidation attempts... sorry I can't help you more.
LOL.I just want you to know, you've provoked many laughs with this joke. At least 3 from me, because this is the third time I visit this page in hope that somebody may have left a link. Each time, I fell for the joke. Thank you, and keep at it
Well I'm happy to know there's such a variety in what one finds good looking. It gives me hope that someone will one day say I'm better looking than Rihanna and Miranda Kerr combined hehehe.
What??? Do we have the same eyes?!! Well no, of course haha. When I think perfect face, I actually think of Hyun Bin, song Joon Ki and Lee Joong Ki! Whereas I put KMJ and Ji Jeen Hi in the same category of handsome but not perfect face.
LOL "normal" is probably not the right word. I just mean a realistic face, and not a face that seems like a manga/manhwa character come alive. You know, these perfect V jawlines, big eyes and high noses. I like them, but it's refreshing to see a more "rugged" type too.
