Title Bed Friend
I unknowingly watched a censored version of this. Only found out when I stumbled on YouTube edits with racier scenes in it. The same happened with Pit babe, KinnPorsche. I've then decided to stop watching Thai BL (have not really watched many of them anyway) because I feel like they rely a lot on the leads' chemistry, so it feels like BS to then go and censor it on the back end.
I'd rather stick to Korean and Japanese BL that are produced with a conservative audience in mind at least I get to see all there is to see even if it's not much. I think (?)
I don't even know how to rate what I watched because it feels unfair to rate something that is not what the producers/director/writer intended to make.

What does that mean in English (I suck at statistics!) ?
Thanks! Oh I see. Yes it'd definitely be interesting.

how come starting from ep 9? god i am so bored but i'm actually curious outside of this particular issue why people…
Some people (like me) said they don't like the drama so much but got piled on and explained we know nothing. I personally tried to like it for a long time, because it's like a moving Wattpad and it felt nostalgic. But even Wattpad is better than this to be honest. Actors did what they could to give us chemistry but they're not magicians. I honestly think they didn't expect the show to be so popular, so didn't put much effort into it.

Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
Last episode was a little let down, so from 10 to 9. But not for political reasons like others mentioned. Just…
Yes I thought the real Baek Sa Eon told him they were related or something. But nope, just stupid noble idiocy. Honestly after a few episodes, it was almost like the writers were trying to cram in as many clichés they could.

I'm only on EP 7 and it's a pretty good watch, aside from some highly improbable situations, scenes, and reactions…
Lol your disbelief will need more suspending for the rest of the show then 😂

I mean, it’s good and interesting but I feel like the series lost its spark in the end. At first it was an amazing…
I agree with you. Also the story betrays a lot the characters. Sa Eon who was supposed to be so smart ended up being fooled by the two closest people. Hee Joo who's supposedly good at keeping secrets was found out by pretty much anyone but the smartest guy in the world. I could go on for days. I think this show should've cooked for longer in the writer's hands.

On If I Can Love You So Jan 7, 2025
I gave it 9/10. This is what All Out Of Love wanted to be but failed at.
This is a great melodrama, with a very romantic love, high chemistry, very bad villains, a charismatic and very grey 2d ML. Almost all the protagonists act stupid at one point or another but nothing too bad (though the FL was a bit dense, still smarter than many others).
What set this drama apart for me was:
- a smart, wicked, charming, morally grey 2ML
- older, but good looking leads with great chemistry, smart and resourceful ML
- we actually have many scenes the leads be happy, live as a couple, love and fight
- interesting side stories, but not overtaking the drama. The focus stays on the leads.
- great acting all around
- poetic ending.
I recommend it if you like and take melodramas. If you're in the mood for something light or funny, keep away.

I saw this one on Lee Yoo Ri's page and was so happy, until I found out this is a chinese production. Never mind...

The shorter the drama, the more tolerant of any flaws I am. This is a feature film length, and gave us a cute little story with candy eye galore and a few steamy scenes (PG13). I had a bit of a hard time with the names but it really doesnt matter.
9/10

Title Ossan's Love
How did I end up on an Ossan's love spree?? I must say this little special is a gem. Much superior to the series in my opinion. The series only expands on this story, unfortunately they had to change Hase with Maki, which hurts the series. Maki is a bit cold, and aloof. I know it's supposed to be insecurities, but it really comes accross more like manipulative behavior.
Anyway, this cute little special is 10!

What an amazingly written drama, the plot makes so much sense and their logic are not to be doubted by the viewers!…

1. Filmmakers always portray Cheating wife as a victim but actually they're not.Just before she cheats, her husband…
My friend, I'd say we both have laid out our best arguments here and we just don't have the same vision of life and love. I propose we put this debate to rest. Have a nice one! ^^

Title Ossan's Love
This show is a remake of the japanese Ossan's Love (2016). They expanded it with a few more antics, and stretching some scenes a bit. Other than that though, it's almost a shot for shot remake, except with that Hong Kong flavor.
I liked it as much as the Japanese version, maybe even more. In this, the actor that plays Siu Muk (Maki) conveys more the insecurities of the character. We can clearly see that most of his actions are caused by a deep insecurity. He is gay and has been in gay relationships before, whereas Tin's sexuality is not very clear.
In the Jap version this was not made as clear, and I found Maki cold and a bit indifferent at times.

Title My Precious Spoiler
1. Filmmakers always portray Cheating wife as a victim but actually they're not.Just before she cheats, her husband…
"BUT did you watch the show??? It did end up with a cheating wife getting a happy ending. There was no KARMA. She is very lucky that the husband decided to become a doormat and give in."

Doormat or not, at the end he's with his wife and kid, smiling and receiving a gift. He has forgiven the adultery and accepted the child as his one. This is not what I call suffering. For someone who thinks no one should forgive their spouse for raping them OR for cheating on them, maybe this is surprising. I acknowledge millions of people stay with spouses who were mean, violent or unfaithful, and are able to be happy later if the behavior changes.

"so we gonna completely ignore the fact that She kept on Constantly pestering him that she wanted kids and after seeing her in the park with the kids, he just went for it that night. True at that night, she wasn't feeling doing it and that's why you can call it sexual abuse/rape."

When someone does not feel like doing it, and they are pushed into a bed and pinned down, this is the most classical case of rape. I'm happy we agree on that. The person being raped wanting kids, or a balloon for their birthday is irrelevant to the case.
I'm surprised that you seem to understand the mindset of the husband (his feeling inadequate for not getting her pregnant) when he raped her. But you are not so understanding to the wife (feeling like sh!t after being raped by someone she trusted before) when she sleeps with someone else. You may feel like sleeping with someone else is not the answer, but for her it was. I personally don't think if your spouse wants a kid you have to rape them, but that's what the husband did.

What it sounds like TO ME is that you feel like being cheated on is worse than being raped. You would be wrong. Because they didn't want the show to be censored they cut the scene short. A rape is a bad bad affair, that can result in significant physical AND emotional pain. When a person isn't willing, they tense up, the insertion and the rubbing is painful. The victim feels helpless, betrayed, humiliated, scared, and it hurts.
Being cheated on causes one to feel betrayed and humiliated.
Finding out your child is not biologically yours is devastating, but luckily this guy was able to see beyond that and keep loving the child, which means he gets to keep his child.
You call him a doormat, when in the end he was able to keep his life. He's capable of acting out, but he chooses not to. He knows he could abandon them, even sue her for damages. He chooses instead to forgive her and stay with her because he still loves and wants her. He's a true winner because at the end he gets to keep his family and I bet his wife will love him even more from now on.
