If I remember correctly rowoon plays the character of fighter and joon woong both. So the resemblance was pretty…
Heheh thanks Mridu! I guess I turned a bit into Sherlock, seeing this drama yet another time and had this epiphany. I will also go by your logic and assume that is what the show-makers had in mind.
Thanks for indulging in this puzzle of mine! Cheers π
Episode 2 - where Kim Jee Soo that only competency matters at work is all kinds of manager/leader goals. π
Just started watching this drama as I am on my Lee Je Hoon spree - and I was compelled to comment on this cause it was such a wow moment #women-leaders π
Still watching Ep 8 - why did they reveal the mom secret so lightly? I mean I know it was realistic but I was expecting some usual dramatic effect of kdramas π
The only 2 things I'm not sold are the romance and the Male Lead. It feels rushed, by episode 2 Junho already…
I agree with you on some level, especially on the lines that male lead has not established his character and it seems too rushed.
Or it could be like how Choi Soo Yeon questions that he should check if his feelings are of sympathy or love. I think the blackout in Ep 7 would be an answer to that, that he is unsure?
But yes, definitely should show as to who he is and why he likes WYW - not buying in the whole that he is an overly kind fellow. Kindness is not equal to love at first sight. Especially when WYW is emotionally complex.
I don't know if it could have done without romance, I personally am okay with it, but then I am a sucker for romance, but yes, at least should show how they drew closer. Not just the fact that WYW finds only him good looking and kind.
Let's see it is just mid-way of the drama, maybe there would be something in store π€πΌ
Since Min-woo is being a complex character - I think the actor is doing a great job. Negative or annoying roles are hard to do justice - so kudos to him and hoping he realizes his mistrust/jealousy is not right
Another character comparison would be Snape from Harry Potter. Not that Min-woo is helping WYW in any way, like Snape did, but he is annoying and not a likeable character, initially. Ultimately we saw what a great character he was #always!
I have a feeling Min-Woo will do a major F***-up and then realize WYW was good and right all along. Or remain bad. π

And that is because real Rowoon is in the hospital lying on the bed, so it would be weird if he was walking around and someone recognizes him.
But in this episode, the erstwhile comfort woman look at Choi Joon Woong and recall the fighter (who looks like Rowoon)
They should not be able to see the resemblance cause to the living Choi Joon Woong's face should be like Kwak Ja Hyung and not Rowoon.
Even in the episode with Gu Ryeon's made/present time idol, she should also see him as Kwak Ja Hyung and not Rowoon.
Hope this makes sense?
1) Choi Joon Woong's face appears as another human/person
2) Then how do the women in episode 13 recognize him as the freedom fighter from the past?
I will be making the Actresses' List soon π
Love him too, missed it - adding him now π₯°
I loved Kim Ki Doo in Perfume and his soldier cameo which was a hint to Descendants of the Sun - Super Funny! π

But why does my intuition says the kids have been switched at birth?
My poor heart π#Ep 7 Blackout
