I loved the show - but I thought the story was complete, what are they going to share in S2, I wonder? I hope they bring the rest of the cast back as well - they were great ❤️
I am loving that we are getting so many projects of her. Excited to see this, given her talent - I think she will be able to pull this off very well. That agony that is needed when you're torn between which side to take, she's going to nail it!!
He's extremely talented - deserves all the love. Can't wait to watch this movie once it airs in my region - the story seems interesting, and it stars another favorite of mine along with SakaKen, the legend - Ken Watanabe! 🫶
loved your comment and analysis of the characters. I was coming to write something similar especially about the…
Thank you for the recommendation. Yes, I saw the cast when Azure Springy was under the upcoming shows in MDL. That show is not my cup of tea, but I will make a note now that he's made quite an impression. Maybe for the days when you don't know what new to watch. Thanks again :)
[1] Jae Yeol: I feel a sense of pity for him now. His one sided love will never come true and now looks like he's also not able to free himself from the political marriage. Moreover his mother's health deteriorates. He's truly lonely and pitiful with a father who's unsupportive and a brother who wants to see him fail. Really feel sorry for him, especially when with his interaction with Mr Noh at the bar proved that he's someone who truly values justice and true. I really hope by the end of the drama he finds peace one way or another - perhaps he's able to divorce his wife, and leave everything and take care of his mother. But before he does that I hope he also gives an earful to his father, for treating him like anything but a son.
[2] Audit Team 3 - Awwwww, best team indeed. I love them too, Ms Yoon. They are a bunch of sweethearts. Expected when the actor who plays Mr Moo is their leader. He's usually a good goofy guy in dramas and here he was no different.
[3] The half-brother: I am seeing the actor for the first time, and while his character and arc are not fleshed out as the main and second leads, he's good. The keyboard smash, the constant cunning eyes that are looking for ways to create a downfall for his brother - marks of a good antagonist to loath for sure.
[4] A-jeong: Yes, I want to B-slap her too. Second drama I am seeing her in, and yes I want to slap her twice at least, hard. She was pitiful before Ep 10 ending and Ep 11 preview, but now - total hate. Kudos to the actress through for playing it so well, but I really want her to play an intelligent, funny or badass character next. Though we could not get the B-slap, it was awesome to see how cool In-a was to intimidate her.
[5] This episode was a little low on our cute, adorable doses of Mr Noh and In-a, so I hope there's more as we go to the finale episodes next week. Can't believe this show has come to an end. While it is going good, I think the last few episodes became a bit too serious. Would have loved if they would have kept it light and comedic even in these episodes, they are trying but it is not the same but it is okay - the script/story-line demands it. Though I feel it has led to a slight dip in the ratings. Hope the finale is a blast and it ends well. This is definitely a must-watch drama of 2026!
I'm not a fan of violence but man, I wanted to slap A Jeong throughout yesterday's episode...She was hella annoying
I think In-a did, like she did not physically but her words did have that effect. And also she pretended to - which was also good. But yes a resounding hard B-Slap would be veryyy satisfying :P
I actually like what the second leads add to the story. I was worried Ah Jeong would feel flat and one dimensional…
loved your comment and analysis of the characters. I was coming to write something similar especially about the VP and ex-secretary. You've already shared it well - one is willing to lose it all for love even if he can't have it, the other one plans to destroy it all. And yes, the backstories are very fitting and well-narrated.
The VP-half brother though not fleshed out well, is acting out really well. The keyboard smash was really cool and then how his eyes are cunning and thinking of ways to bring down his brother - quite good. I am seeing this actor for the first time and I really like his portrayal.
Yes! I cannot forget how much I disliked her in Buried Hearts! She’s so pretty but always plays that villainous…
I find her more stupid that villainous. Maybe not here but definitely in Buried Hearts, her role was completely not required. And that's sad that she's been in such roles or at least that's where I found her.
Post Ep 9: We are near to the end, and therefore the build-up to climax is looking good. And while the tension is high, am loving our main couple. They are so adorable - I like this mature depiction of love. The ability to trust, support your partner and not run away or misunderstand things. Really liking the flow of things and of course, the leads' visuals are 🫶🫶🫶
The secretary - well I have never liked the actress since seeing her in the bad drama "Buried Hearts" in a terrible character. The moment I saw her, I knew she'd brew trouble, like she is. But then again its her character and she's making terrible decisions. Though as an actress, I hope to see her in better roles, and really see her acting talent. She's really very pretty, just need to see her with a good role, I guess.
Really loved the PM case as well. I like that they are not forgetting that they also have to showcase a case, and bring out the office politics/malpractices. It is subtle but significant. Ep 9 one was really good, the way in which it was played out. Not everything is an affair, sometimes there is more than meets the eye. Good case, relevant in today's world.
I can feel the vibe is more serious now, and at times it can become boring or under-developed. I hope that's not the case. I really loved the show from the start, and hoping for a great finish! No theories today - cause I think all the cards are on the table now. We are just headed towards the end-game :)
P.S. The convenience store worker is so fun. Even in the limited role she's created such an impact - kudos to the actress. She had such good sense for the hot night guidance! 😉🪥
Loving the back to back projects of Park Eun Bin. Also, seeing another fav - Yang Se Jong. This is also an interesting setup, waiting to see how it all plays out :)
Siwan! Siwan! Siwan! It's been a while - his last works were a little meh (Mantis) and Squid Games S3 was a short and we totally detested his character :P
Ooh, I know this one, ask me, ask me!!(I'm not an actor). Interviewer: Why did you pick this work?Myself: MONEY,…
this reminds me of an interview Dylan Sprouse gave. when the interviewer asked what he liked getting from his fan, he said "free stuff. cash, as much as you can" 🤣🤣🤣
Though I love Lee Jun Young - and I feel he does a lot of diverse things, and yet not so high on the popularity meter. I hope he is making good money nonetheless.
Wait, why Season 2 for Legend of Zang Hai? I thought the story was complete and ending brilliant. Or do they mean something like a spin-off, or another story from the same universe.
I am not much knowledgeable about it, Zang Hai is technically my first historical C-drama and was the first one of this series, which I got to understand from other MDL-ers that Zang Hai story was part of a universe of stories based on tomb raiders. So it that?
It's a lucid dream ~ I think the song, the scene which was the ending of Ep 8, is going to stay with me for a long time. In fact, I am liking how every episode is ending with a bang. Cliffhangers really done well!
This drama has done so well, I really hope as we are moving towards the close, it stays sharp as it has. I expect nothing less from my favorites - Shin Hae Sun and Gong Myung. These two are adorable. And everything works individually (a cog) and it fits well together like a well oiled machine - kudos to all cast and crew. The chemistry, romance, comedy, office politics and drama; weird exes etc everything is so top-notch. This week also gave us so much depth and background - a deeper insight to who these individuals are and how the past is affecting the present, in some ways. I am also happy that they still continue to solve the PM cases, while the main leads' story progresses.
Mr Noh is so cute - he's such a grown up puppy. Like did you all see him getting all jealous and acting so openly. A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!!
And looks like along with me, others had guessed right on who is complaining about In-a. I have never liked this character for some reason lol. But then we need a good hiccup even in a romance tale: #2 from here https://kisskh.at/793102-secret-gratitude#comment-26008542
Can't wait for the next weekend - it will be so much fun!!! 😍😍😍
Thank you still, for sharing :)

at times kindness/pity also has a cost and looks like VP, In-a and Noh need to pay for it.
