Hmm - I want to disagree here. Rather I feel NJH has a lot of diverse emotions/expressions but in every drama…
I totally understand and yes, I know the comments at times can be a little extreme. I have learned (took me a while) to take them with a pinch of salt, what else. We all have our likes/dislikes, and I feel everyone should respect that - rather than going to extremities!

im sorry but the little “monster” from episode 2 onwards is so cute and silly it looks like a labubu 😭
he's cute - I think he looks a bit like Groot too, but yes labubu structure for sure - especially cause Labubu's are more monster looking and Groot is different than that. LOL - it was cute nonetheless and he's such an important element/character to the story - and does not simply remain a cute factor - I liked that!

I honestly don't get what people see in Nam Joo Hyuk. That man couldn't act to save his life. The drama itself…
Hmm - I want to disagree here. Rather I feel NJH has a lot of diverse emotions/expressions but in every drama of his that I have seen him, they all come out. Like anger, comedy, happiness and more - they are all same across dramas. But that's bound to be cause it's him and that's how he delivers.

But yes - it's very minimal - like he can express a lot by changing minimal of his facial structure so as to say, and he modulates his voice accordingly. Maybe could be that - or it's okay, in comparison you might like the range of other actors.

I just don't agree with the line that he can't act to save his life. I don't think so since I have seen him from a long time (in support roles to main leads) and I have seen him grow - and he's good, not the greatest of all time - but good.

But then to each their own - I just had to share my view on it, as you did yours and I think both are valid. Glad you liked the drama tho :)

guys on a horror scale of 1-10 how scary is it?
Not scary in the sense of jumpscare etc. I feel it's more fantasy/action - just that the characters look gruesome (to look like ghosts/spirits). I personally don't like horror (thanks to Valak jumpscare in Conjuring - so nothing like that). Another tip - watch it in daytime, in case you don't like it but want to still watch it. The story + acting is worth it!

From Ep 1-4 the title of the show went White to Red
Now on Ep 5 - it goes Red to White (those who have seen it will know why)

I love these Easter eggs (is that what even this will be called) that creators do!!!

Ah Ep 4!!!
I was wondering how could Kwak Dong Yeon have such a less/cameo sort of role, and then Ep 4 brilliance happened. This drama is really good so far - and am glad that the horror element is not that much. It is more like fantasy/action which works for me!

Nam Joo Hyuk - am so happy to see him back, I didn't realise I missed him so much. Roh Yoon Seo (FL) - I had only seen her in 20th Century Girl, in a limited role. She shines here. Cho Seung Woo - the actor from Stranger (that's how I remember him) - he has been good so far, but looks like he's going to be a layered/grey character. Queen Dowager - the actress is always brilliant - I have seen her in good/evil roles and her scream is damn high-pitched and hair raising chilling, whether she's shouting in anger as a evil character or scolding Kim Bok Joo as her coach. Haha, the ways I recall actors lol.

I had thought not to binge this - but then here I am - zero willpower to abstain, but then the show is really interesting and you can't help but click on Next Episode.

Just starting this - although Horror is not a genre of my liking anymore (plan to watch in daytime LOL) - I want to watch it cause of NJH (he finally returns!) and the story is intriguing (am always up for mysteries in the royal palace - anytime)

Only 4 minutes in and I spot a familiar face that looks so unfamiliar. Jang Young Nam as the Queen Dowager. Like I could instantly see its her, but with the makeup as an elderly lady - she looks so different.

Another thing - they Jang Young Nam and Nam Joo Hyuk, are here together - earlier I saw them in Weightlifting Fairy KBJ!

Anyways - excited for this, seeing the comments and having good expectations already puts me in good hope!

Title Dream to You
I thought it was a Cdrama
that was also my initial thought cause the title is so similar to many other C-dramas I have come across ...

In the main poster - they both look so different - HIY and Hyeri. I couldn't recognise them for a split - second.

Episode 9 was so emotional. Lee Jun Young - is such a terrific actor. I mean I know it since the first time I saw him, but still. The anguish that his character feels was so palpable. The whole setup in fact, the way it has been directed and even the senior actor, Son Hyun Joo showing his emotions - made me so emotional. Brilliantly shot and acted emotional scenes!

This Drama Feels Underrated:
A part of me is sad, that I feel somehow this show did not get the love it deserves. I am not saying the popular, most-talked about shows on social media are bad. But when you have shows like this that have everything done so well - the rating and popularity is not matching. Hidden Gem as we call it - but I wish it was not so hidden.

Same with Lee Jun Young:
I have felt that Lee Jun Young's projects mostly don't get so much hype, and therefore he in turn as an actor. Like he's still not at the tip of the tongue of everyone. I wish that changes soon - he's so brilliant!

WHAT THE UNNECESSARY ROMANCE!!!

Okay I know it is meant to be funny - but ewww ewww the heart fluttering scenes in Ep 4 and 5 - so unnecessary. Would prefer if it is with the Grandma - that would be hilarious and ofc we know that why he's doing it. If I recall well that's what happened in "The Dude in Me" (https://kisskh.at/28713-the-man-inside-me)

Noticed that Hwang Jun Hyeon had signed from SOONYANG to CHOISEONG FC.
Was this deliberate? Given the other "Reborn" drama was "Reborn Rich" and the group name there was SOONYANG!!!!!

P.S: Just starting this drama - cause it's complete and I can binge at pleasure and watch my beloved Lee Jun Young, before he soon departs for his military duties.
