Actually was not able to watch the entire series. Only till Ep 4 was available on WeTV. Rest were not subbed and available to me. Even checked on Youtube and other sites. If possible can you share the link with me?

I ended up reading the plot from websites where they have recapped it for the rest episodes T_T

Not even the second time, I have watched several J-dramas but only after they finished airing. This was for 2 reasons - they were available to me once they were completed and after a long wait, OR if they were airing and available then I would wait for them to complete and then binge.

And yes, that's the main thing - the subbing, I have a lot of J-dramas that I want to watch, some are marked here in MDL, some randomly noted down in my notes app - and they are forgotten over time as I wait for fansubs to come in. Like I remember 2 of my ultimate favorite J-dramas "Barakamon" and "Only Just Married" - I watched after a long time after they finished airing, cause fansubs were not available. Viki did have the latter, but then after few months it was unavailable in my region. This is why my J-drama count is so low (contrary to what I want) and C-dramas even lower (T_T); forget about Thai and Taiwanese and other regions T_T

Hoping for OTT or fan-sites to have them in the same way K-dramas are uploaded frequently.

Yes, even with K-dramas 2 eps per week seems like a lot. I remember how crazy I went while watching the J-drama "Dr Chocolate" when it was 1 ep per week.

I am waiting for Merry Berry Love to finish airing or will start once it reaches half-mark. That's how I am handling my drama-watching these days. Plus it has JCW in a romantic/healing role after Samdalri - so looking forward to it.

I know - am in between that phase where I know I am grateful for what I have, even though its not aligned to my passion (cause well, money). Everything else is just a passion project or side quest. That's why am happy and slightly envious of people who have made passion their careers and ofc drama characters like Bo-Bae. At around 50? Given the world we are living in, I hope we can survive till that age 😅

Haha, I dont want chaebols and idols to chase me - but it would be good if they do and are my friends. The self-less one so that I can enjoy things without care of money LOL - and if romance strikes then who am I to stop it 😅😅😅 but yes, that's why all this exists in fiction and rarely IRL

Is this a K-drama or J-drama? While I know its a collab between the two industries, seeing the cast and director etc, I thought it was a K-drama, while MDL country tag says Japan...

Seeing dramas like these makes me want to be reborn as a female lead character in a drama! I love how they are following their passion as their main full time work, and of course - men literally vying for their love. What a life! 😂 I am jealous!

Even I never understood why the FL chose to remain friends with her. That would have been the next thing I would put an end to - after dealing with the husband and mistress. It was weird - which is why the Squid Game piece was satisfying to me on a personal level.

And I totally get you - I have called out and told the truth to my friends whenever this kind of thing had happened. I mean that's why we are friends right - else I will be just another stranger. But yes, humans in general are such complex beings - and matters of the mind, what someone is thinking is even worse. Which is why one of the superpowers I would want is mind-reading. The world would be a much better place if everyone had it.

Does anyone know where I can find the laptop cover that Na Bo-Bae is using?
It looks like it covers every inch of the laptop apart from the keys, slightly quilted and is completely made of cloth. I have not seen such a cover - but I feel it will be nice, since it would be slightly padded and washable?

I am sorry - and that again shows how people are. It might be cause they did not want to meddle and so didn't inform the FL in the drama, or maybe they secretly enjoyed that she was being fooled. I guess we will never know - and maybe that's what the drama was trying to share as a message.

I was just oddly satisfied - the woman who plays the best friend of the FL, she was in Squid Games S2 and S3 as well. And she got what she deserved there - and I had this moment of satisfaction that the World of Married character also got her due, eventually in another drama-universe! haha

I understand - and personally as someone who does art the traditional way as a hobby, my views for AI are the same. Yet the reality is that even if few people like us were to boycott the use of AI, it is not going to change the way people are adapting to it. And as you mentioned even films/dramas. Therefore, I personally feel - while I may not use it, for my own creative purposes, or dislike it - I cannot stop others from using it. There's no point in hating it - just that I will appreciate for what it is and move on or if I don't like it I will voice it. But unfortunately a select few are not going to change or completely stop use of AI - that's all. Hence, while I respect your decision to not watch this drama, that does not mean that the drama is bad simply cause its using AI. There are other human elements to it as well - the acting, the thought process (AI can generate a lot of things, but ultimately its a human who's giving it the direction and deciding what to keep and not). Hence, to rate or judge a drama from a single lens, I don't feel that's right - but then its your choice, and I respect your opinion, even if I disagree with it.

Regarding the men/women thing - I think men have been rating or loving cinema and other entertainment where women have been shown in such ways that promote sexuality. I think it has been happening since a long time. Just because women (though I doubt its only women) - are now sharing their views and fangirling over sexy men - why is it being called out. In any case, I dont agree with your argument - both men and women do it - so therefore your earlier point that only women/girls are fangirling and sharing it is very one-sided/extreme. Both do it, its just that right now when you're seeing social media - maybe the content is one-sided. But believe me - from a long time and even today, men have been into women shown in a sexy way, or more - through magazines, websites, movies, TV shows etc. You can always look up and see that there are men and women celebs - both - who are regarded as sex symbols. Asian Dramas did come at a time and are made in a way that they know that their main audience is female, and hence there is a lot of fanservice involved. But I just dont think its right to say that women/girls see a hot/sexy ML, and even if the plot/story is trash start rating dramas 10/10.

I hope the drama ends well - even with a SE. War based story cannot be without losses, sacrificing that will wrench your heart and keep tissues on standby. I just hope whatever it is, the creators deliver it well !
