Yeah, I get her grandfather’s mentality—women were treated like property back then, not just in the East but everywhere. Fathers forcing daughters to marry for cows here in the West ? Ridiculous. But still, it’s so frustrating how they piled that huge burden on her shoulders—knowing full well the man is a beast and she’s just replacing the original bride, who was older and more experienced. Yet they expect her to turn this monster into an ally, not an enemy. It’s unfair and so heavy for her to carry!
