And yeah, the SML genuinely seems clueless about the history of that case. He doesn’t look like he knows the truth at all. But the way they keep giving us flashbacks of his dad being harsh and rude to him… it has to be setting something up.

I’m really hoping that once everything comes out, he chooses the right side and breaks away from that legacy. But I still think he would be a good match for her friend..lol

Yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense. If they were way more toxic in the novel, that’s probably why the drama version feels so off—they toned it down but didn’t rebuild it in a believable way.

You can absolutely create a strong, painful crisis between a couple without cheating and still make it hit hard. Miscommunication, fear, insecurity, pressure—there are so many ways. But this? OMG. It just feels lazy and poorly adapted...lol
