SO… the BIG question: Is he gonna move out now that he’s achieved his goal and got inspired by the place that gave him his win? OR Is he about to magically “find” another very valid excuse to stay in her house?..lol
The dialogue between the leads is mature and straight to the point—no cringe, no childish lovey-dovey nonsense... And the way it’s casually wrapped in comedy..!!!!OMG, this is how you do it...I kept giggling like an idiot—alone....... Repeatedly.
He’s heroic without being corny... She’s adorable without crossing into cheesy territory... He’s got those hidden soft spots but still stays manly... she throws flirty looks—but it’s her wit and sharpness that actually run the show...
Honestly, it feels like C-dramas are stepping into a whole new era of realistic romance—respecting our brains while hitting us right in the feels at the same time..
Well, she kisses him in episode 13. I don’t remember how many kisses there are total but they don’t kiss again…
I think it’s like 27 kisses total ... so if the kissing officially starts at ep 19, that’s like… 3 kisses per episode on average 😭😂that’s a NEW HIGH SCORE...
So according to this kiss calendar or whatever, today’s supposed to be the start of the kissing parade🥰 And every single brain cell I have is already imagining how they’re gonna do it...
Okay okay OKAY-so the SML just clocked the ML’s VR character name… which means he’s about to jump into the VR soon...lol.. Things are about to get real juicy...
My theory is MLs dad was framed for the building issue which caused him to commit and the SMLs dad is behind all…
Yeah, agree...that’s exactly where the story seems to be leading us right now—but knowing dramas, surprises can definitely still happen. They like to point us in one direction, get us comfortable with the theory, and then flip something on its head later...lol
Okay, so the ML and the SML are connected in this weird way—like their parents are married… lol. But when you think about it, it actually makes sense. The mom was a widow who married her late husband’s business partner, who already had a son. So yes, this is drama math 😂 But we still don’t know where the hate comes from—is it competition, or is it the ML struggling with his dad’s place being replaced?..or more fishy things..?
Can someone tell me if there is another layer to this drama? I am on episode 7 and it feels like it has turned…
I totally understand you. A lot of us were fascinated by the VR element too—that’s what made the beginning feel so whimsical and special. But this is still a modern drama, not sci-fi, so it naturally has to step into real life at some point.
What I appreciate is that it doesn’t completely abandon the VR side—it slowly weaves it into reality. The story finds a balance between office life, the VR world, and the characters’ personal, homey moments. The VR becomes more of an explanation for the ML’s background and emotional state rather than just a setting...
If you’re already enjoying the Shanghai atmosphere and the leads, I’d gently say give it a little more time. The transition is smooth, and the emotional layers—family, healing, and relationships—start to deepen in a very natural way. It ends up feeling grounded rather than generic, and that warmth grows as the story settles.
Hopefully, you’ll end up enjoying it as much as we did....
Okay, I swear you could dress this man in anything—whatever, doesn’t matter—and he’d still look unreal. General uniform, suit, coat, even PJs… he’s still scoring. The charm, the features, the build—God,, it’s unfair... And the kissing scene hasn’t even started yet… God help us when it does...lol
The way she worked through her issues with her parents was so gentle, mature, and heartfelt. It really shows where her judgment and character come from—being raised in such a loving, warm home. Nothing about it feels forced; it’s such a natural, logical result, and honestly… beautifully done
