The whole damn point is proving a woman can crush it in a man’s world—doesn’t matter if she’s not dark enough, tall enough, or broad enough. Deal with it..... GOD.. She’s a stunning, clever, savage, heartless warrior-politician—cunning, sassy, unapologetically badass—and still, her own family took advantage of her. So yeah, sometimes playing girly to get what she wants is strategic, not weak.

Ok, so far we’ve had the girly, bubbly FL, and in episode 1 she gave us the sad, betrayed version. BUT now? Now we’ve got the savage queen—and when she took out that asshole, it was pure, unapologetic satisfaction. That’s the kind of brutal transition we look for..AMAZING
Ok y’all, if you’re upset that the drama doesn’t match the book—you’re absolutely right. BUT… just imagine how the drama would have turned out if it stayed true to the book: a woman-centered story diving deep into themes like gender roles and identity, loyalty, survival, political intrigue, and incredible strength of will.
Now picture this: casting a bulky woman as the FL—or maybe a super skinny one with no curves to fit the role. Not only that, she’d have to be unattractive to avoid men’s attention. What C-drama do you think would survive with that? YES… NONE.
The reality is, to score ratings and build a fanbase, they had to turn it into a fluffy romantic rom-drama with a cute, appealing FL who does catch attention. Keep it pretty, keep it light, and sprinkle in all the romance… while all the other themes become just subplots.
If you want the serious, deep stuff—yeah, the book’s where it’s at. The drama? Pure fluff and eye candy. But sometimes, you gotta take the sweet with the bitter, right? LOVE YOU ALLLLLL..

I’ll tell you my take, sis… maybe because she knows him so well, she truly sees herself as his equal and gets more casual when they’re alone—like she thinks she’s on his level and just chills. Plus, she definitely has a crush on him and teases him just to throw him off a bit. If it were any other commander, I doubt she’d be this playful... lol
It’s pure romance at this point. Logic’s taking a backseat, especially with military rules and all, lol.... So let’s hope for more spice in their fighting scenes and romance too… !
