Wanna bet, friend? Viewers will complain even if the FL were tall and sturdy. The problem with muscle is you can't…
OMG yesss 😂 You cracked me up with that last line—let them eat noodles!!
But fr, you’re so right—we’re all here ‘cause we love what C-dramas bring to the table. Sometimes the mix-up between Western expectations and Far East storytelling gets a little messy (guilty here too ), but that’s why it’s important to take a step back, breathe, and think before we critique...

LOL you are soooo right 😆 Like imagine a super buff FL trying to do those graceful mid-air spins—she’d land like a brick ..lol.. and yaaas...C-dramas are all about that floaty, elegant kung fu magic, not WWE smackdowns 😂or even Marvel-level fight scenes...So , let her be elegant and deadly while defying gravity. It’s not about muscle—it’s about ...aesthetic violence...lol
Apparently they were longer but because of the scandal with the previous Cheng Li Su actor, a lot of his scenes…
Sis.. Honestly? At this point, I’ll take anything. Just feed me… deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes glances—I’m not picky..... Still grateful though 😂❤️..
Apparently they were longer but because of the scandal with the previous Cheng Li Su actor, a lot of his scenes…
Totally agree! ML and FL are absolutely carrying right now, no doubt. So yeah—let’s just enjoy what we’ve got as much as we can and soak in every moment ..lol
Some folks have been criticizing our FL build for playing a general—but let’s be real, is the goal to watch a bulky woman with harsh features for a more "realistic" take? And if that’s what we’re demanding, then we better be ready to throw out the handsome ML too, along with all the polished visuals, perfect lighting, and flawless costumes, ‘cause none of that screams real historical accuracy either. Let’s not cherry-pick. We’re here for a romantic vision, not a documentary. So let’s enjoy the story for what it is—a visual feast with chemistry, emotion, and style ❤️

bestie… lol...this whole thing is honestly so weird. Like, cutting his scenes over whatever dumb mess he got into off-screen? That’s actually worse than just leaving them in and letting people drag him for his morals. Seriously?? Y’all did the drama dirty just to protect some “social image”? LOL okay. Now the pacing’s wrecked, half the story feels rushed or missing... Let the work speak for itself. We came for the story, not some last-minute PR clean-up.,,lol
OMG no, because the way they did us dirty with this runtime?? 36 episodes, and each one barely 30 minutes once you skip the intro and outro? Like, how are we supposed to feel the angst, betrayal, backstory, and full romance in just 18 hours..
This wasn’t some light, fluffy drama—this was deep, emotional stuff that needed time. We needed the slow stares, the quiet heartbreak after the betrayal got explained, the tension build-up, and those late-night monologues to fix the plot holes between the book and the show! Not some rushed mess where half the plot drops mid-episode and we just move on 💀
They should’ve given us at least 40 episodes or the classic 45–50 min format so the story could actually breathe...
Maybe it was a mistake to go through the book first—let’s wait and see how they pull it off later. The leads, the visuals, the sound design, and the music are all PERFECT, so yeah... I’m a fan—that’s why I’m a little busted about it ... lol 😭💔
Please, no more Gong Yuan Zhi 2.0 syndrome—the clingy emotional brother who third-wheels every romantic and nonromantic moment...... Let our leads fight, stress, kiss… ALONE....
And yeah… .Let’s not pretend like ‘pretending to be a man’ isn’t our favorite personality trait in drama 😂
