I have to admit that I watched this story because of Lee Jong Suk, even though I didn't like his character, not because it wasn't well-acted but because I didn't like the character's personality. The story is interesting for being different, but the main couple was despicable; in the end, they showed zero respect or remorse towards their respective partners. Lee Jong Suk's character deserves to end up crying in the end for being unscrupulous. The only sympathy I feel is for her husband's character. I felt so bad for him that I even felt like crying when he found out about her infidelity.

Those who say it was true love that she and the other guy "fell in love" at the same time don't know what true love is. They barely knew each other, they only had sexual attraction, which comes from mere infatuation. Their hormones were just stirred up, nothing more. True love was what her husband felt for her, sacrificing his career to be by her side, getting teary-eyed at the mere thought of her possibly dying, staying with her in the hospital to keep her company, and marrying her knowing she was sick, not every man would do that. Her husband knew how to truly love, but in the end, his wife paid him with disrespect and cruelty.

Slightly jerk ? You must be one of with no self esteem what so ever kind of girl

Typical patriarchal and sexist drama that is ingrained with sexism

Good things first, I simply love the cast of the drama and how there are instances where women working after marriage and giving birth is normalised and the attempt of the drama to normalise divorce and dysfunctional families. I loved how it has moved away from the traditional notion of the family. I liked it's attempt to address the issue of breast cancer.
What I don't like is the sheer insensitivity the drama has had on various topics that have been present in the society since time immemorial. It's very evident that the characters and the story was written by men without consulting even a single woman. For starters, no woman in her right mind would continue to like a person who gives her shit or doesn't treat her well. Any woman would prefer to be with a man who knows how to take care of himself, helps with the household chores and treats her well rather than being with an entitled, arrogant manchild who can't do anything by himself. But since this drama is written by well men who want to be with women who take care of them just like their mothers (or who suffer from Oedipus complex) the woman chases an arrogant and entitled manchild who doesn't value her or treat her well. This also promotes the most toxic mentality that "if a guy doesn't treat you well, he likes you" and "women should leave behind their dignity and self-respect for the man they love".
