I don't think they had the guts to remove that many XZ scenes... I mean the fandom wouldn't have taken it peacefully lol. But there were some nice scenes of LQ and XZ shot in winter which we could see in the ending song but didn't get aired :)

Maybe you're right and it's just my wishful thinking :) I just feel that had it not been for the cuts, the show would have been SO much better (and made more sense!). I still love it but I'm sad it got butchered. I want justice for TW lol. :)

Yeah, I don't think we'll be able to see the scenes banned by the censorship board but I read somewhere that later on more cuts were made just to lower the number of eps in order to broadcast the show (there are ep limits for dramas). Not all deleted scenes involved violence as you can easily tell while watching the show.

Does anyone know whether there will be a Director's Cut version? I'd really love to see the missing parts... :(( They released it for Goodbye My Princess so maybe The Wolf will get one too?

Just binged 10eps and what a gem this drama is! I just can't get enough of their heart-warming family bond. They're such lovely people. The other thing I can't get enough of is the opening song!

I just had a heart attack lol. Idk why but The Wolf appeared in the "Top Airing Shows" section on mdl and I thought I had missed the premiere date after waiting for the show for 2 years hahaha XD

My thoughts exactly! His shamelessness and ability to stand up for himself are extremely likeable traits and, considering his backstory and his tragic childhood, its no wonder he turns ruthless whenever threatened. He's really a breath of fresh air! Fingers crossed for an epic scene! I wanna see NQ kicking some asses/cutting some heads off :D

Of course it didn't :) But as much as I like the novel version, I think it wasn't a bad choice. They changed the plot so that NQ and SS could meet General Ma, the only father figure for them, but also to reintroduce the character most of the viewers had forgotten. Finally, NQ and SS made me feel really sad for them when they stayed at their old house which Ma had kept for them, looked at the cuts on the door frame where NQ always measured SS height, when NQ and SS finally slept on a normal bed and could get a proper rest. It was all nice in my opinion :) Singing, dancing and drinking was for the characters just a moment of relaxation. They finally felt safe and relaxed among ppl who wished them well. The reality kicked in sooner than expected and they left the city.

Ahh scenes at Wei City made me feel nostalgic. General Ma is such a lovely character ❤️
