No. In the book fang yaen got divorced and remarried but they didn't tell with who. Fang yaen and chen kairan isn't being told much in the 2nd half of the book, because Yemeng and Jinyu moved back to Beijing (in the drama they changed it to Jiangbei) and the 2nd half it's mostly talk about Tai Mingxiao and Guo Kai

But in the drama it's changed to business war, which make more sense and less complex than a cult 😭🙏

Finished the novel. They did remove some characters from the novel, but i think it's necessary because it'll be too much character if it's being adapted into a drama. But so far they still stick pretty much to the novel
