no. the writer originally wants to write a story about a profiler then he went on a field observation and he accidentally discovered this "unique" kind of police. then he start writing the story about photoartist
it's only on episode 5 that i realized that the girl playing hyunji is not Hyeri sjafgjdgudsfhweijadh i thought was "hmmm hyeri's cheek is not this squishy" but then... turns out they're a different person. lmao
ah so this is set in a fictional country in west Africa. but some of the stories was based on the real experience of Chinese doctors who went to some African countries during the Ebola outbreak
altho it is kinda sad, but it's supeeeeeeeer realistic
