even though 4 of them are police. but it seems their struggle, dilemma, ambition and expectation at the workplace is somewhat relatable to young workers. sometimes young workers esp fresh graduate can be seen rigid to textbook-ish, too idealistic, too naive etc.
i love this drama so much bc i had no expectation when i watched it and i thought it'll be like the cliche trope in crime drama where someone wants to avenge the death of their loved one, joined the police force and apparently the case was unsolved for yearssss. But this drama is soooooooo well made, each case is felt so human, like shen yi to humanize all the criminals. also i'm so obsesed with Du Cheng and Shen Yi bromance
I only learn more about north korea after i watched this drama. Before knowing how's ordinary life of north korean really is, I'm okay with this drama, but after knowing i begin meh with this drama and, i know it's a south korean drama and i should expect some soft propaganda in here. Rewatching this again made me mad fr
Does anyone know if this series is based on a novel.
no. the writer originally wants to write a story about a profiler then he went on a field observation and he accidentally discovered this "unique" kind of police. then he start writing the story about photoartist
altho it is kinda sad, but it's supeeeeeeeer realistic
