I just finished this today and now I feel kinda empty. Honestly haven’t gotten this attached to a drama— its…
What aspects do you like the most from this show and I'll try to recommend some titles. Do you like the actors? Do you like the commaderie/bromances? Military setting?
there is an alternate ending ep 49. Only 10 min long
Oh, then I've seen it. Thanks for your fast response!
I might be in the minority here, but that seemed like an illusion to me. Because he remembers her picking herbs, and she's in an old outfit to get technical. It's my opinion that if she lived, she would've ran up to him or at least said something out-loud. To be fair, the zoom in on her hands around his back and tapping. It could've been a hologram type...where her hands kind of fade in that shot.
The other angle that I would've preferred is if she spoke and the writers did the amnesia trope. She lives, but he has to remind her of who she is or make her fall in love with him again.
Yeah, but there's a lot of sad stuff in the middle.
You're right about that. There was an immense amount of suffering (mentally, emotionally, and physically) that the characters had to endure. However, most people would equate the two main leads ending up together as a win. So if I had to choose yes or no, I reluctantly choose "yes".
I was actually rewatching bits of it a few days ago. It's such an underrated show imo.
I understand the "Three Lives, Three Worlds" part of the title, but what does "The Pillow Book" reference? Or is there something missing when translated?
