Honestly, this is what I enjoy about kdramas - romance and revenge plot that are well-executed. There are many different complaints about the show, but I have no notes. The FL had been wronged so much by people close to her that she felt the need to get revenge and I must say, I enjoyed the way she went about it.
I hate when shows have a revenge plot where the MC suddenly acts like they "forget" how evil the other characters are, so they let their guard down. That didn't happen at all here. In fact, she knew they were bad the whole time and didn't let up and even when they showed their darker colors, for the most part, she was prepared. I liked that Ji-Won took action; she didn't wait around for Ji-hyuk to do things for her, but she also didn't stop him from helping too much. And I like that as things ramped up toward the end, she kept going.
Idk, the story about how she regained her life bit by bit, reclaiming ten years of her life that was stolen from her...I loved it. I enjoyed the acting a lot and I actually love every character.
Even the evil people, like min-hwan and su-min. I like them as characters. I like that su-min was great at survival and that min-hwan, even though evil, had a strange charm to him. I like every character because they felt real. They didn't suddenly "have an epiphany about their wrongdoings," they were just evil and got more and more evil as the show went on. Su-min's acting was GREAT, so was PMY as Ji-won.
The intricate choices and how they changed the outcome were also very fascinating to watch.
I loved how caring and attentive ji-hyuk was. Ji-won really deserved someone like him.
I'm really a fan of this show.
