Watching these bad reviews filter in all day has had me rolling in laughter.A tragedy tag needs to be added....this drama was truly a tragedy after all
Thanks for writing such a detailed article on this.A lot of Save Me's negative review are based around this very idea.I think a good analogy would have also been:if people have been kidnapped and lock next door from their home in neighbours basements without even knowing themselves or being found for years do you think that cults existing in plain sight is that far fetched
While I'm happy that My Ajusshi is up in the 9s (where it should be mind you) some people seem to be a bit too zealous about negative opinions some have expressed towards the show.Just the same the people who just come on saying "Oh it boring and dull"or what not thats not a reason to rate it poorly reviews ought to be subjective analysis of the show and even when it's not a review and you say that people who love the show and understand what its doing right or going to ask you why you think this way AND they don't have to be rude about it.Just remember regardless of whether it has a fking 3.5 or 10 on MDL that shit don't mean nothing if you watch the show and it is ACTUALLY good. Many a good show have faced the wrath of shit MDL scores by individuals in my belief have no real grasp of proper film criticism. That why shows like Brain are barely holding out at 7s and trash like Weightlifting Fairy are "lifting" higher scores than they should.
Lol am I the only one that realizes that Mdl effectively spoils this entire season in the cast listing. Also this season was a massive disappointment- the entire vibe of this season is off and I blame that on the change in director,a mess of a script and don't even get me started on some of that simply nasty cinematography (Lord that club scene was horrible)
I hate to have to say this but am I the only one that found episode 7 to be just absolutely horriblely hideously shot, grossly lit and definitely weaker in the writing department.Ep 4-6 felt like Queen of Mystery you know?Anyways I'm not saying it's down right unforgivable but it just didnt feel like the caliber Ive come to expect from the show.
I've seen quite a few comments here about the age gap being 'controversial'.Personally I'm not big on romance especially when it's two young leads as it either divulges into some sooning cotton candy crap or its so unbearablely sappy and CW-ese like The Great Seducer. Mature leads in a romance always strike me as more believable down to earth and when paired with a younger lead of whatever gender makes for an interesting watchespecially due to the usual generational contrast in this case its handled by Director Kim Won Seok and having watched the first episode it's already delivering on what I said.A lot of this age gap talk is because the older ones a MAN,High King of Savvy literally had a middle aged woman with a high school boy and the amount of talk surrounding that in a negative light was almost non-existent and there countless other examples Angry Mom,Secret Love Affair(not that I hate those dramas but the hypocrisy is extremely strong)
Luckily my bullshit detector is simply excellent I dodged must of these bullets except for SWKBS which i dropped on episode 6 (I simply couldnt lie to myself any longer),Mad Dog I dismissed as a run of the mill swindler drama and Suspicious Partner- which i simply will not speak of i dropped it by episode 3
Lol I didn't watch or dropped most of these drama as well.I didn't watch any of them expect Chicago Typewriter a dropped it at episode 10 (it just wasn't gripping and felt like cheap romcom drama)and Suspicious Partner which I dropped after episode 6 it was just a horrible juxtaposition
I'm curious about this remake. Every time I watched a Chinese remake of a Korean drama I like it better.…
with this drama however i feel that will not be this case. There's something that this remake will never capture that made the original so good and its the spirit the share command that each individual character brought to the show and the actors that played them. This show already feels like a shell with that tacky poster.
not to be a total hater but I personally feel that dear my friends the korean verison (the original version) should be felt alone. All im feeling for this remake is a wish wash attempt of the first and would need as solid a writer and cast to pull it off and i see neither of these things here.
so i checked the statistics on this and saw that what some 11 people gave this drama a 1-those type are that give shows like f&**ing Cheese up my Trap a 10.I respect your opinion however its still shit
