I'm surprised so many people felt that way! I fully expected a real kiss, just not one that hot. All of the recent Thai BLs have had real kisses, but I guess people were thinking Ohm and Nanon would be too uncomfortable to really kiss because they're such close friends? But yeah, there are so many BL shows now that shows that don't do real kisses can't compete. I feel like high fives and pecks are a thing of the past, or at least I hope.

A healthy dose of skepticism is always good. Better than getting your hopes up. But I'm seeing enough evidence to make me feel fairly confident that it's right, for a number of reasons.

I'm anxiously waiting for the official announcement, but I've seen several places cite an image where the details were listed. It's the official promo for the show. Buuut I can't read Thai, so they could be lying, I guess. I feel like someone would have called them out, though. It would have been stupid of them not to do this, though, and they've been saying it would definitely come out this year. We all knew that Bad Buddy wouldn't be done airing, so I had to assume they'd open up another slot. I just figured since I'm relatively new to BL dramas, everyone insisting there was only one slot just knew more about it than me. I'm glad to see GMMTV adapting.

They're growing up and adapting. I mean, even the one at the end of the Not Me trailer was way more mature than previous kisses. Seriously though, someone was saying the other day that we'd obviously get nothing more than a peck because the show is "PG-13," and I was like, yeah right. They have to compete with the BL boom. But I tell ya what, I was not expecting that. Above and beyond.

Agreed! This show is blowing my mind. It's SO good. The only show I'm looking forward to as much at this point is Not Me, so I have high hopes for both. Also, if OhmNanon isn't a ship after this, these guys are gonna be seriously missing out on some income potential. That chemistry is no joke.

Welp, I spoke too soon! Not Me just got a new time slot! So it'll be airing alongside the rest of Bad Buddy, it looks like! Enchante should be next in line!

These companies aren't stupid. They're basing their choices on an algorithm, but it isn't reflective of today's audience. Why would their straight dramas be fine with multiple slots, but two BL shows will kill the popularity and views? If anything, it would bring MORE views to the channel, because people will be watching both shows. It could be tied to the tendency to cater to those considered "the default" (straight, often male, light-skinned in most places, etc.), while throwing crumbs to the "other," which is everyone else. Homophobia is alive and well, and even in markets that claim to cater to the LGBT+ community, there's hesitation. Companies shift under the viewpoint of the cultural majority, because that's where the most money is. It's why in the states we have so many pro-LGBT companies now. They wouldn't dream of being for gay rights in the past, because they wanted money from the largest bulk of people. They stayed neutral as long as they could until they saw the rise in potential profit, due to the older generation dying off. It's frustrating as a viewer, either way. I understand quite well the kinds of stupid decisions go into creating these kinds of limitations, and I hate that it takes so long to change.

I swear they love to dangle rough, gritty BL in front of us, then snatch it away. Please give me this!

I'd like that, so I hope it's the case, but vampire BL dramas tend to be kind of weird and not super standard, I've noticed. It's one of the few "cliches" I'd prefer. Vampire/human is always more fun.

I have mixed feelings about elements of this production, but I'm intrigued. Happy for Art to be back in the game, since he supposedly left his other BL project coming up next year.

I hate that they only air one BL at a time. I'm dying for Not Me, but I want this too! BL is so popular. It can't get just one more weekly slot? So lame.

I'm really eager to learn more about this.

Oh wow, Fuhrer Steven just showed up to do this role after vanishing for years? I'd love to see him get back to acting.

Oh hey! The guy that got punched because of Third, lol. I felt so bad for that poor guy, like he was just an innocent bystander. I would like to see this actor in a nice BL pairing.
