Not me realizing just now that the eight feet spirit is named like that because he is 8 feet tall, and not because he has 8 feet. Me for the last 6 weeks: "Weird, I don't know why they named him that when he's just a big boi with a regular number of feet"
If I could suggest a few other options: Grim reaper from Goblin? Sunghyun from Hometown Cha? Beak In-ho from Cheese in the trap? And I'm not sure if this one counts lol but Beomseok from WHC1?
Me before every rewatch: I might down rate this, I feel like its a 10, but should I rate it a 9.5? If I rewatch it'll probably not be as good as last time.....
Me after every rewatch: why won't this website let me rate this hIGHER THAN 10??
"True Bromance" I was laughing the whole time playing this, you were so clever with the titles 10/10. Also this blew my mind with how many times I had seen the white truck of doom and forgotten about it.
I think you are spot on with this review. I think back to the first season and how the characters were introduced to the viewers and to each other, that slow built up and binding created profoundness. Suho quietly existing in the classroom until an angry baseball team captain introduces him to us, and that short quick interaction with Sieun. Then BS and the Fentanyl patch plot, the slaps in the classroom, the peak inside Sieun's mind after the answers from the mock exam are revealed. The fight scenes are well embroidered in the story line, usually as climaxes culminating from underlying emotions we shared as viewers with the characters. We get nothing that special unfortunately in this season's plot and character bonds. I think that airport scene with the call from JT revealing to Sieun that they knew about Suho's coma is a good example of how this season lacked depth, that scene was acted out beautifully but it still felt superficial like it came out of nowhere. Less like the characters were driving the plot and more like the plot was catching the characters by surprise, dragging them against their will, usually to the next fight.
I have to say, I respect that people were much attached to the original work that brought us this series, but by now you should have figured out that the aim is to use the material for reference only! That the series strays far from the source material is not really criticism, or has everyone forgot that Su-ho in the webtoon is good at studying and not at fighting?
