it's been a while since a movie got me feeling this suffocated, sorrowful, sitting silently im my room and thinking. i can't even put into words how this movie made me feel. who's the monster? the kids that rebels because they can't understand and accept themselves because of the social norms imposed on them by the society? the world that created these norms and still shuns those who don't fit in norms of society... like the mother who wants his son tho have a "normal" family, the teacher who tells his students to "act like a man", or the dad who tells his kid that he's sick and has a pig brain because of his sexual orientation? how the adults dealt with the whole thing was so disappointing. the principal and teachers trying to sweep the problem under the rug instead of actually talking to the kids and solving the problem (that reminded me japan's low crime rate that is the result of police ignoring the crimes to keep their country's image clean). hori kinda being weird and aggressive with kids when he could just talk to the mother and assure the kids that he only wants to help them out (tbh he still didn't deserve all that). really loved the multiple perspectives. it showed that what we know is not always the whole truth and we shouldn't be quick to judge and assume things. i wish we could've seen yori's pov too (would've been devastating to watch). the cinematography, directing, the screenplay were all amazing. the acting was perfect especially the kids, my adorable sons were outstanding. the ending is open to interpret, i really want to believe that they're alive and safe but my first thought while watching the ending was that unfortunately my babies couldn't make it.
touched so many important topics sexuality, women trying to explore their sexuality within the patriarchal society, the guilt and the shame and the burden of having sex as a woman when you're expected to perform like an experienced pornstar but have to be virgin and pure, the contradictions of a conservative family that scares you in different ways such as shaming you or shunning you or religious guilt trip you in to being submissive and pure but enjoy the shit themselves, suicide, expectations,... the lines between the scenes of the movie got blurred so it was kinda a little confusing to me but overall a good movie
wtf should people be jealous of??? raping women??? you're talking as if you know shit it was confirmed that there was no consent but he got away cuz SA in not taken seriously in most countries especially asian countries of course he only got a slap on tge wrist just like other pedos and rapist who are walking around freely and getting roles and have people like you defending them and im not attacking him just because... i said his case should be included in his bio because this guy actually went to court and has a SA case so wtf are u talking about?
very underwhelming and disappointing wanted to see what the hype was about so i had high expectations... wtf was this? the acting wasn't that bad and the cinematography was good but the plot?? were the writers fr? i used to read better stories on wattpad that were written by 14 yr olds. the plot was a mess snd it had so many plot holes the worst part was the sexual abuse and assault and rape scenes and glorifying them and toxic relationships the dialogues were so lazy and cringe and the characters were flat overall it didn't make any sense and was disappointing like other thai bl dramas
Why is season 2 better than season 1? I´m about to finish season 1 and I´m curious to know whats different
the participants and their friendship, the drama, new rules, the way they add the participants to the show, the chat room and confession room makes it more exciting and better than s1 imo
it had potential to be entertaining and funny but tgey fumbled it because of the script if they just eliminated the ones that were bitten and let the players be themselves and not stick to a certain character like they were acting, were extremely bad at it, were not hiding that they were acting lol like when johnathan got biten it was funny cause they dropped the charade for a moment the whole thing could've been fun like that but no it seemed like they wanted to make a low quality indie web drama
when did it happen?
meh plot and awkward acting
