I don't know if you've read the novel or not I'm just expressing my thoughts. at the first place i lil bit anxious too, maybe because he is portrayed as 6 - 7 years older but duan jiaxu doesn't make his appearance look his age he is a gentle ML fox type, if they make him exude too much maturity it spoils his character i think because he is really flirtatious and shameless not an dominant and stone face ML type in all espect. also someone who opened a game studio, Sang Zhi's classmate even thought he was in the same first year as them when he sneaks to listening Shang Zhi's class. i feel his face type suits Duan Jiaxu but if their height difference is more it will be better, like Liu Te's height, it suits Lusi.

just watched it and dropped on episode 1, the plot is too forced this is a lil bit disappointing for Yang Zi's Xianxia Drama.

i don't know. i'm just voicing my thoughts but it looks like she's definitely not the one who playing Wen Yifan, she keeps getting second lead female of low budget dramas while Sang Yan's role has a lot rumors and keep changing, yesterday i heard Zhang Kaitai and now Victor Ma.

actually this novel has a good essence & idea in the whole storyline, the original author clearly had a well-planned goal and didn't seem to rush to finish it also not a messy plot. just hope that this playwright is talented and develop it to its fullest potential plot potential and not mess it up.

at first i was worried because they changed the essence of this novel which is their age difference which makes it different from ordinary romance dramas. but actually Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan match each character, actually it would be better if their height difference was more.
