I think it makes the show even more interesting because there will be a lot of development of character for him. I'm sure he'll become more open-minded and Loony will end up becoming one of his closest friends. So let's not judge him even if he is homophobic at this point.

Also, I have realized guys are more homophobic in general because they feel threatened by a liking they cannot respond to. Like how women are careful of men -
doesn't make us man-haters. Captain Yoo could also feel threatened by Loony's sexuality because he might try something on him and it is a prison and they're prison mates (that kind of thing is not rare in prisons). So he could also be wary because of that.

Bottom line, let's not judge him too harshly.

I love how Lt. Paeng pretends to be the least bothered person ever but cares for the prisoners the most. His character is the best!

SAME <3 This drama is more real and down-to-earth and that one was too intense and not as interesting. Also, the characters here are beautiful <3

Their characters are also similar (here and in A Love to Kill). Both come from humble backgrounds and have a tragic past that makes them a little brooding (Rain's character more than Junho's). Fashion choices are also similar at times.
