because as much as the government doesn't want/like it, Chinese people are head over heels in love with Korean dramas and actors and KPOP and the demand there is really high.

Yeah we all know that. But Chang Ji Wook definitely has great chemistry with Song Yoonah, Probably because both are such good actors. The gleam in Yoo Jin's eyes, it's like she's trying to say "My god, I can't believe I met a man like this in my life. I didn't even know a man like this could exist".
